What to wear at opener

I will never go to a Tennessee game home, away or neutral site and not wear Tennessee gear. I don't care who invited me, if they invited me they know who I pull for and if they expect me too dress to please them they can stick their invitation where the sun don't shine. I wouldn't expect a fan of another team to do that for me and I wouldn't do it for them either. No way no how. As far as the sideline invite I would just flat out ask him or better yet nicely tell him if me wearing Tennessee gear on the sideline was going to be a problem that I would pass and just sit in the stands. No way I would give up what I wear just to stand on the opponents sideline, but that is just me. Actually I wouldn't sit on the other sideline, it would not feel right at all to me.

If he knows you're a VFL then he would probably expect you to wear something Vol related.

It's a football game. I would hope people aren't personally insulted by other peoples rooting interest.

I am friends with a coach at Georgia Tech. He knows I'm a VFL. He is giving me a sideline pass to the opener. I don't know anything about how that works but I imagine I will be quarantined to the Georgia Tech sideline. Obviously out of respect for my friend I can't deck myself out in all my orange. Anybody have a suggestion for a neutral color? Can I get away with the smoky grey? In all seriousness I don't really care what I wear, but I am worried that I will not be able to contain myself when the vols do something big. After all, I am the guy that screamed at the TV during the games. Either way I think it will be a cool experience. Maybe I'll have an opportunity to sneak to the correct side line.

Just wear any neutral color but be very sly and get you some checkerboard socks to wear

OK, you are going to be on the sidelines where everyone can see you, including the TV cameras. Find a makeup artist, and have him make you look like Elvis should look at 80.

Neutral colors for sure, but wearing something with a small power-T will be helpful to the Techsters around you who will be wondering why your game reactions are opposite of theirs.
