Seriously, what do I tell my 9 and 5 year olds. My daughter told me today that there is no way we win this game and kept repeating last year's score and saying we are worse than last year. Yes, I know it's true, but both my kids have all Tennessee stuff, they live in Bama and don't remember the dominance UT had. My son said today that all the kids make fun of him because he wore a UT shirt today. It's BS... We must beat 'Bama. In the meantime, what do I tell them?
On the way home from football practice last night, my 9 yo told me he didn't like Tennessee this year because they were terrible and weren't winning. Needless to say, I was pissed and He got a good tongue lashing.:realmad:
I tried to explain fair weather fans & how you always pull for your team, win lose or draw.
I asked "Who do You like, then?"
His answer: "Texas, because they're winning"
I think I scared him...lol and I hope he understands. I will speak to him again this afternoon.

yeah, it always makes me happy to drive to Fayetteville. Sad, I know, but at least you can get Vol gear there.
