Seriously, what do I tell my 9 and 5 year olds. My daughter told me today that there is no way we win this game and kept repeating last year's score and saying we are worse than last year. Yes, I know it's true, but both my kids have all Tennessee stuff, they live in Bama and don't remember the dominance UT had. My son said today that all the kids make fun of him because he wore a UT shirt today. It's BS... We must beat 'Bama. In the meantime, what do I tell them?

tell them, "grow up and do something about it. Stay up late doing pushups and you'll play for the Vols one day!"

Tell them to shut up and go to their rooms until they can learn to be respectful. And say before you go to your room get me a beer dammit!

Tell them to shut their traps before your kids bust they lip open!

In reality just tell them to wear Tennessee stuff everyday and say smack about Albert Means/Logan Young to every little kid and fan that approaches them.....neither side will get it, but onlookers will get a kick or two!

Tell them about real fans, the ones who love the team no matter how bad a season is. My 13 yr old wore his TN jersey to dinner the Sunday after the Florida game. A guy that passed us as he was leaving said "You got a lot of nerve wearing that shirt today. Good for you kid, a true fan." He was absolutely beaming!! (course I told him the same thing and it meant nothing to him, lol)

Kick her out the family ASAP. Trust me, see how she likes living on the streets:p

you could get a book of stats about American states and their relative rankings.

Go to about 48, give or take, on every list and point to Alabama.

I saw that, but don't ever let the kids believe they're anything but Tennesseans.

Yes I like it. He could say, "see honey because you're talking good about bammer we have to live in this hell hole state, it's all your fault! Go to your room, but first bring me a beer"!
