What team will draft Eric Berry?

im hoping tennessee we certianly cam get a top five pick and our defense is horrible right now and with michael griffin and EB in the back field thats terrifying and cortlnd finnegan healthly but it all depends on vinces devolopment if hes not the guy than we will prolly get colt mccoy cause sam bradford now has a recuring injury and he may come back next year it all depends and we could always get EB and trade up to get a jake locker or tony pike but it mostly depends on the teams ahead of us needs

Warren Moon, Steve McNair, Vince Young. We don't see it so much in Nashville because Bud is not here much, plus the man is getting older and he probably doesn't get out as much, but the guy is VERY proud of his minority status as a Native American and I think he takes special pride in putting a minority at the helm of the team in the QB postion. Don't be surprised if Fisher is gone in 2010 and VY is the starting QB.

VY is done after this year...We are 0-6 and they have not given him one chance to turn the season around...If they really believed in Vince he would be in right now and getting ready for next year. The Titans are supposed to give Vince $14 million this next year....No way in the world has he shown anywhere close to being worth that. VY is gone along with half the rest of the team...

We lose..
Offense...
Kevin Mawae
VY

Crumpler
and Keep Bo Scaife

Defense...
Kyle V.
Jeavon Kearse
Keith Bullock
David Thorton
Nick Harper

and Tony Brown is up but I think they resign him..

Lidowns are going to use the best player available strategy with their drafts. I think they will go with McCoy or Suh (sp? the dude from Nebraska).

Who knows.

Jerry Jones will probably trade up to get him.

I'm surprised the Titans fans haven't gotten it yet. Titans draft a RB in the top 3 picks last 4 years in a row. Titans are getting Jahvid Best. [/sarcasm]

...will probably have the first pick. But there's a lot of NFL football to be played to see who will have that draft choice.

I still think a QB will go 1st overall.

Most likely Locker if the strong armed Mallett doesn't come out.

Berry will go shortly after that.

2. Cleveland Browns: Eric Berry, S, UT

Eric Berry isn’t going to be a senior but his draft stock is most likely going to be soaring. A lot of people have compared him to Ed Reed and anyone in the NFL would take Ed Reed with this pick. The Browns would love to find a great player for their secondary in the 2010 NFL Draft. This 2010 NFL Mock Draft has him slotted as the best safety.

What if Berry comes back for his senior season (not likely but just for the sake of conversation) and the raiders tank again next season? The raiders have to forfeit their pick next year to New England because of the Richard Seimore deal. How sick would that defense be with Mayo and Berry? Just a thought

I only want the Titans to draft a quarterback if it's Clausen, Locker, Mallett or Ponder. I do not want Colt McCoy and I do not want Bradford with his injury. None of those guys have to come out though except for McCoy. If McCoy is the only choice then I don't want a quarterback this year. Eric Berry would be my choice with Mallett or Ponder in round two or three next year. Mallett still wouldn't have to come out next year though either so he pry won't come out early unless he is a 1st round pick or at least 2nd round.

A lot of people disagreed with me about Mallett. He has looked good to me all year with Arkansas. Unfortunately his offensive line sucks and his wide receivers drop a 10 perfect passes a game. But how about Ponder? I've liked him since the first game of the season. Tonight.... 33 of 40 for 395 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. He is a gamer and a potential first round pick in my opinion. I am not sure how many teams will see him that way which means he is a steal outside of the first round.

Mallett, Ponder and yes, Kellen Moore are the real deal. It's too bad Sam Bradford got hurt because Jimmy Clausen and Jake Locker are the only real quarterbacks that might enter the draft this year. I don't think Mallett and Ponder will... Moore can't.

Colt McCoy sucks. Jevan Snead sucks. Tim Tebow... any team that drafts him to play quarterback outside of the wildcat is just dumb. Tebow will be twice as bad as Vince Young has been if asked to play in a normal offense that requires a quarterback to drop back.

So.... Eric Berry or *throws up* Mt. Fat(Cody) should be the Titans first pick. Unless it's Jimmy Clausen or Ponder/Mallett enter and fall past the first round. In which case, that wouldn't interfere with drafting Eric Berry. I wouldn't use a first round pick on them til the following draft. Maybe Ponder.... I love Mallett but he could use another year and his size is ridiculous.

am i alone on this? who else would love to see the colts move up and have the best offensive player ever from UT in manning, and the best defensive player ever in berry play on the same team?

You're alone outside of the people who are Vol fans/Colts fans because of Peyton Manning. I hate the Colts. I hate them a lot. Peyton Manning is the only thing remotely okay about them. Because he is on a rival team, I don't care if he goes 0-16.

They won't have the record to get Eric Berry and unless they plan on letting Bob Sanders go, they wouldn't draft Berry. Bethea is pretty awesome and Bullit is adequate. They have Sanders waiting in the wings. When healthy, he is somewhat of an impact player. They don't have a lot of flaws so they may take the best player on the board. Doesn't matter though because obviously Berry is a top 10 pick at least. Probably top 5. Colts will win too many games to trade up that high unless they are going to trade two first round picks or a 1st, a 2nd and maybe a 3rd or 4th. Not many teams will trade Eric Berry for a 30th pick and a 60th pick imo.

I pray that somehow my beloved KC Chiefs will have Eric Berry still available for them when they have there first round pick.
