i hate loosing to kentucky in basketball cause were i live there are alot of cats fans also in school our was orange with white and black trim and our rival,s color,s were the same as uk,and football the gators because it most of time determines were we finish then uga,bama,really i hate when vols lose to anyone

Being from Wise, Va (1 hour north of Kingsport) I share your hatred for VT. Most VT fans didnt know they had a team before 99. Ive not heard the end of their meaningless CFB victory over a 7-5 UT. I take pride in the fact that our biggest wins are not in ACC title games or Chick-Fil-A Bowls. I would pull for all 11 other SEC schools and all 118 other NCAA schools over VT.

Without starting a pissing match, but the UF/UT game hasn't been for the SEC East title in a long, long time.

The last time that game really decided the East was in 2001. That's 10 years. maybe it will get back to that, but highly doubtful. SEC is completely different now.

Florida in Basketball and football. And Alabama in football too. And just Kentucky because we have never lost to them in football.

i actually find myself rooting for the SEC Football Teams when Tennessee isn't playing them. Even Alabama and UF. SEC SEC SEC.

I would say the programs i hate the most are Ohio State and USC.

florida. i hate how their fans come to neyland and act like they own the place every year. we've only beat them at home in 98 and 04. the rest are losses.

with all their redneck, obnoxious fans at my office, my hate for alabama can't possibly be any higher. I would rate is as {hate for other teams x exp(100)}--that's a super-level of hate.

I think most people would disagree with you there. There is an element in every college town. But to characterize the entire campus of 30,000 + students as "emo" is like saying that all Vols are hillbillies. I've seen plenty of those in Knoxville (I go there several times a year on business), but I'm not shortsighted enough to say that the entire town/campus is like that.

In football and basketball: Florida.
Used to be Bama in football and Kentucky in basketball. Vols have to beat Florida in football to win the East; in basketball it's beat Kentucky and Florida to win the East.

LSU. I live in East Texas about 20 miles from the Louisiana state line, and the coon as*es around here drive me crazy. Not to mention i just plain out hate them. Hate that they call thier field "Death Valley". I hate that we got ripped of this year and ended up losing. I hate thier feeble minded coach. I have that in 2001 they beat us win the SECCG with a backup quarterback and killed our dreams. I hate that Jarmarcus Russel got so over hyped by the media that he won the heisman and get the number 1 draft pick. I love the fact that hes one of the biggest busts of all time in the NFL. Florida is a distant second. Hard to hate a team when you never even come close to beating them. Ive just accepted the fact that we get spanked every year. For now anyway.

Not me. I have NEVER rooted for Bama or Florida.

If you had to live among the fans of these schools with very little to brag about regarding the Vols recently it might change your opinion too.

It's REAL close between Bama and UF but I'm going with the Gayors! Everything about UF makes me sick except for Erin Andrews :)
