Live in NE TN near VA border. Lots of bandwagon Jokie fans from VA and parts of TN. (And just what pride is there with a mascot called a Hokie anyway? That's a derisive term from where I'm standing.) They are 'new money' fans. Have very little tradition but think they have always been good. Arrogance abounds. Kind of like Florida fans now that you mention it. ;-)

I pretty much hate to lose to anyone. However, if I had to pick a top 3, it would be:

1. Florida
2. South Carolina
3. Alabama (I know we're supposed to hate these guys the most, but I at least have some respect for their tradition, etc. On the other hand, Florida is the biggest bandwagon school of all time and South Carolina is just pathetic)

I can't stand anyone that we loose to. But if I had to pick a particular team it would be Florida. I live in Florida and I have to deal with all these idiots when we play them. And our record of late hasn't helped my dealings with them either. Please Tennessee, please win this year. I might just go off the deep end if I have to put up with a gator chomp in my face by some idiot.

It's bammer... No other team is even close.

I hate bammer with every fiber of my being.

I hate their slack-jawed, inbred, uneducated, illiterate, uncouth, self important, dental hygiene challenged, imbecilic, tree poisoning fans.

I hate the dump of a city where the school resides.

If bammer were to never win another game in anything. I would love it.

If bammer played a team made up of axe murderers, rapists, and lawyers, I would cheer for the criminals.

Every year for bammer's spring game, I pull for the tornado.

I even refuse to start sentences with bammer because bammer should never be capitalized.

It's bammer... No other team is even close, and no other team ever will be.

Have to agree with this one. Lived in NE TN for a while and had to put up with UT= University of Thugs jokes daily from chokie fans. Thrive on downing UT (even though we never really play them) and they act like they invented college football. They're a lot like Florida...except they've actually never won a national championship game (but I hear countless stories about the 4 or 5 times they should have won a national championship). And although the 2000 VT team was quite good, the fans honestly believe and will argue until they are blue in the face about how that team was the best college football team of all time...Glad I'm back in Knoxville. No more maroon and orange (and they also like to argue about how we wear the wrong color orange. :crazy: )

Can I be honest on the UT board? Mine are:

1) Auburn. Used to be UT but how can you not hate a bunch of cheaters who think they're Bama now. Talk about obnoxious fans!!

2-5) Auburn. See above

6) Tennessee. No comment since I'm a guest.

7) Florida. I don't really hate UF. They get their great players from their home state and have very good coaching. If SOS had stayed they'd be the class of the NCAA.

8) S. Carolina. Their fans really do think they'll win the NC every year. You have to admire their optimism though.

9-12) I really don't hate any other programs.

I have a difficult time hating on Georgia or Auburn. For some reason they seem like cousins to me. Kentucky and Vandy are just sad. So cute to watch them play football, almost like the tough girl in the neighborhood trying to keep up with the boys. I hate any loss to SC, but they've been through the waste land to get where they are, so I don't hate on them.

Thanks Cuz. I used to feel that way about Auburn before the Cam thing. They pay players and always have.

It hurt bad when we lost to Jay "I can't play the rest of this playoff game" Cutler and Vandy. If and when we finally lose to UK in football, that will hurt worse.

As the OBC once said, it's never good when your rivals likes you. BTW, I've been to over 100 games in the Swamp over the past 35 years and have never seen a "yellow bomb" thrown. If that was true at least one person would have been arrested by now. Pure folk lore.

Hard call for you guys between Bama and UF. I have the same problem between UG and F$U.
