What single player will give our D the most trouble?

What about Stafford? If Massaquoi can catch, they could be a problem.

Since McFadden is the BEST college football player in the country, I will go with him.

Imagine how much better he would have been last year had he not broken his big toe in that bar fight right before the season. I wonder who was on the receiving end of that kick? UMPH!!!

I went with Johnathan Luigs a couple of pages back. He is a strong candidate for the Outland Trophy and plays center for Arky. He has a lot to do with McFadden's success IMO.

I believe it was a bar parking lot. If I remember right the bouncer had him and he was kicking at at guy as the bouncer was pulling him away and he kicked the parking lot. OUCH!

I think Nutt's only hope is for DMac to win the Heisman. No coach has ever been fired the year one of their players has won it.

I would have to go with a RB as well, the more I think about it. They get more touches and thus have more opportunities to hurt you and control a game.

He'll be distracted by all of those Orange clad tight and chiseled bodies.
i could see hall or harvin causing the most trouble for the D line.......esp if htey are used in end arounds etc....chasing down those kinds of guys is not what D lines are built to do.

i do think we'll be better against the run, so i don't see mcfadden doing to us what he did to us last year.

and good lord, i hope it's not tebow.....:mega_shok:

...and then you add the fact that our rush defense is atrocious, and you come to the conclusion that McFadden will be the single player that destroys the Vols defense.

Volnation nailed it.

I believe that Bama is also the biggest threat on the UT schedule. If things go real well (as they could), Bama away could still be the spoiler.

I think Harvin will actually have a tougher year than last. UF lost two outstanding WR's that took some of the focus off of him.

McFaddon's problems are that he lost key blockers, their whole program is on the verge of implosion because of Nutt's problems, and Casey Dick is a horrible QB... and apparently separated himself from the others in a lackluster spring performance.

mcfadden seems like the logical choice
