What SEC teams are in NCAA tourney as of now.

The longer I think about it, the more dire things seem to be for Florida. It is very surprising because when they put their mind to it they have so many working cogs in place that are so comfortable with each other that even if they aren't the most motivated team playing, they should still beat an LSU team that has absolutely no girth.

As of late, no one is playing well though. Noah has disappeared recently- granted because of Billy D's masterful coaching move of sitting him while they were down by 15 away. But, how is that supposed to sit with the team and its fans when one of the most dominant players is on the bench when a #1 seed is at stake?

While I agree that the players have to blame themselves- Donovan screwed up big time during the LSU game. People say that UF is going to be tough tomorrow night, but they are reeling right now. They are so out of whack that a high pace game is the worst thing in the world for them right now. They need to slow this game down to where 65-70 points will win it for them, and I just don't think it will happen.

we'll see how this week plays out, i just think florida may be showing us their true colors. i could be wrong though, i have just had a feeling for a while now that they benefit by playing in one of the weaker conferences. if they can set a path of destruction over the next 2 and a half weeks I will be sold.

and I am high on TAMU because they play great defense. I expect them to make the final four.

there are a lot of teams right now that could end up being number 1s, a lot more than two or three weeks ago

Texas A&M is good but has beaten nobody. Kansas is too up and down to get there.

A&M has beaten Kansas at the Phog, easily handled Texas, Ok St. twice, Winthrop, and only lost to UCLA by 3 on the road. They are definately deserving of a 1 seed if they get it.

We will need for them to play poorly again to win, regardless of the tempo.

for some reason i just have the feeling that they will not be prepared to come in and play on the road. Tennessee is coming in with a lot of momentum from the first road win (god they needed it) and will bring their A+ game at TBA to try to go unbeaten at home for the first time in a long time.

The lone with worth anything is the win over KU. TX and OSU are mediocre. Winthrop is a mid major and losing to UCLA is worth a loss. They also lost twice to TTU which make losing to Vandy at Memorial look like a victory.

florida = loss to kansas on a neutral court, loss at florida st., win over ohio st. at home, win over kentucky on the road, win over vandy at home.

The difference is that UF is reeling right now, A&M is not. We could compare schedules and it would break even.

Being a #1 seed is a nice honor. Florida in two weeks may or may not deserve it and may or may not get it.

But as a fan of the defending national champions, all of whom are back, I have to tell you that my interest in being a #1 seed pales in comparison to my interest in them getting to the Final Four, no matter what their seed.

Ironically, the expectations are so ridiculously high that if they can make it to the Final Four, for me it will primarily just be a sense of relief that they did not embarass themselves.

I was referring to making his list of bubble teams "pal".

ESPN projects Vandy and Kentucky both as 5 seeds. Vandy he projects in and Kentucky he projects as a bubble team.

i can't believe anyone really thinks kentucky is a bubble team. they are in because they are kentucky.

I also think that Bama is out. They have to win their next two games. If they go 1-1 in the next two then they finish 7-9 in conf. and there is no way they make it unless they win the SEC tourney. They are not playing well enough to win two in a row IMO.

I think the fifth team to get in will be either Ole Miss or UGA.

KU loss was without Brewer and with a sick Noah. I think most discount the value of that W. FSU also beat UF without Brewer.
