What SEC HC Would You Take And Why

I don't think he can get the players to USCe that he got at Fla. Since recruiting is a HUGE part of being a good coach, the answer would be no.

You are partially correct..but what I also see is a more patient Spurrier in respect to allowing the running game to develop to give his less talented teams a chance to win the game...and also more patience with his QB useage as well..so I actually think his game management has improved.

I don't agree with the Qb statement, hasn't he started 3 different ones this year. Now he says the 4th string walk-on may start next week against UT.

yes..but i'm talking about altering QB's every play or so..just killed the rhythm at times

I would probably take Meyer, I beleive he would work harder in recruiting. I also never liked the way Spurrier can't decide on a QB. Still has that problem.

Give the criteria that I originally posted, you'd be crazy to take Spurrier. He's been there and done that and has lost a lot of his passion for the game. In his prime he was probably the best offensive mind ever in the SEC. Except for Hal Mumme of course.:eek:lol:

Best 5 SEC Coaches Ever:
Bear Bryant
Steve Spurrier
Robert Neyland
John Heisman
Shug Jordan

Ok, Ok.... this list is better.

Personally, I would put Pat Dye before Shug Jordan because that man built Auburn up from nothing and add John Vaught to the list. Otherwise, a list worthy of a sportsboard that I would recognize as a sportsboard.

Your wrong he's from Alabama.

I'm sorry. I'm lost. Are you saying Berry is not the best defender in the SEC? Or are you saying he did not go to high school in Georgia? Or were just trying to be funny? Sorry, just not sure what you were saying...

I understand that..but UT has a much more tradition rich program than UF has....UT has no problem bringing in top notch talent. Also on the same token many more teams dip into the state of Florida for that same talent than they do in Tenn.

Did you really say that with a straight face? You are attempting to claim it is easier to recruit to UT than UF? That is funny stuff. Could be a good opening for your stand-up routine.

I'm thinking he's talking about Rolando McClain as being better than Berry.

Ok, I wasnt sure if that is what he was implying or not. Fair enough. Personally though, I'd take Berry.
