I never evaluated or projected Dak Prescott.
His offense doesn't require that he make many nfl throws. Not many deep outs, digs, etc. Also not the best size or arm strength.
He's improved this year but the lack of elite measurables and offense he plays is hurting him.
I think he can be a backup in the nfl. I just don't see starter.
Its their job. And I'll call them out on it when they miss. Cause its their job. What I do is just a hobby.
Except you did.
lol:
But God forbid anyone call you out on how far off you were on Dak, North, Hurd, Dobbs, etc.
Dobbs is not better than Dak. Period.
He's way better. And ultimately will prove it in the NFL.
He might not succeed immediately because its unlikely he walks into a scenario like Dak did at Dallas. But he's more talented. Bigger arm, taller, more athletic, smarter, better intangibles.
Dobbs will have a Randall Cunningham type impact on the NFL.
"I have an eye for talent."
"It's not my job."
I can't help but laugh with this logic.
"I'm better at most NFL teams/personal teams who draft"
*Proven wrong*
"It's not my job so it's all good"
It's like he doesn't understand that being wrong isn't suddenly dismissed because it's not your main field of expertise. When you make bold claims you get held to them. You don't just get a bunch of free passes.
Once again this isn't my job. Its theirs.
I can miss a million times of players like Dak because I'm not paid to make those decisions. They are paid to make those decisions hence why I criticize them even if I made the same mistake.
All I do is state my opinions. I let history be the judge. We'll see ultimately what happens to Dobbs. I still maintain he's the best QB prospect in this draft. And is better than anybody who came out last year.

I don't believe that he is NFL qb material unless something changes a lot. He waits too long to make a decision, and then takes off running. They didn't let him throw it down the middle much because he isn't accurate enough. Not going to work in the NFL.Dobbs is a great kid who is going to be a great professional.... engineer.
All of the problems he never overcame as a passer... are innate. IOW's, it is unlikely he'll ever get over them and may not even get the chance. He is more likely to play WR as anything else.
Your problem is you put too much faith in the McShays and Kipers of the world. Those guys know nothing about a guy like Dobbs draft stock right now. They are shooting in the wind. NFL front offices haven't even put together draft boards yet. Other than for the guys with lots of hype like Deshaun Watson, nobody knows where the rest of the QBs fall in the pecking order.
Just go and look up mock drafts by guys like Kiper and McShay at this time LAST YEAR and then compare it to the actual results.
The draft evaluation process is just beginning. For a guy like Dobbs I'm sure his value in NFL front offices and among scouts is higher than among the media draft heads. Those guys are typically last to know on many things.
