What recruits do you see changing their commitment and coming to UT if say we get Gruden.

Jalen Ramsey 5* Tn

Anyone think he would go after a different caliber QB?

It will a sad day in Volnation if Gruden turns out to be Mike Sherman. We may get the talent, but what of the results? I just want to win. Whoever can get the best athletes and teach them how to win is the perfect candidate.

If reports are true and we get Gruden, i have seen where we are keeping Graham, so we should be back in and almost a lock at picking back up Green at RB!!!

We would probably have to call some committed recruits and notify them that their services will no longer be needed. We would have to make room for all 4 and 5* recruits wanting to commit.

He's the hottest name out there, but will the guy win? If his offense is a complex as was reported towards the trail end of his NFL tenure, I have to think college kids on 'limited' field time will be able to do what he wants.

Who knows, maybe he's so good the kids will just pick it up through osmosis.

I know one thing, if a coach looked at me and said, Z Banana Y Spider I'd be checking the nearest Chiquita banana box for tarantulas.

Word is he's been studying up on Chip Kelly's spread offense since he's been out of coaching. I wouldn't expect his complicated pro offense necessarily.

How many spots we got left? Can we sign 25? If so, we have 7 spots left. Which 5* guys are going to be banging down our door? I looked and only see one that will. Next year, different story. Finish strong with the last 7 and we might be top 15.

We would not pull scholarships for guys that are committed, that would be a PR nightmare to the new coach (plus a douche kiffin like move). Besides, who would do that to a kid that has stuck with TN through all of this and stayed committed? Guys that WANTED to be VOLS.

We may have 8 because last i read Camion Patrick was unlikely able to get in..I don't know if that has changed.

Also, some of them Tennessee is their best choice by far. Just saying

I know the chances of us getting Kelly are slim and none, but I'd love to watch that offense week in and week out.

Could you imagine SEC size and speed running that offense? It would be like TAMU on steroids.

Add a defensive coordinator that knows Cover 2 and Cover 3 are defenses and not choices for toppings on a pizza and we'd be good to go.

No matter who the coach is, I'm pretty positive have of our class will have to search elsewhere to open up spots for higher ranked recruits. JMO

We need a guy like Gruden to catch up with and beat Alabama,Florida and those teams. If we did get Gruden i think recruiting would be turned upside down. I think alot of kids would change their mind and come to Tennessee then.

No, no, no, no. I'm absolutely fine with Riley Ferguson. He'll be great for us. :hi:
