I’m wondering if our big recruiting finish shows we are willing to spend more or if it singles the complete opposite. That we are doubling down on our commitment to building through high school recruiting.

8-4 if we avoid the usual game we had no business losing.

Bracketing it - 9-3 ceiling / 6-6 floor. Likely 7-5 or 8-4.

I don’t think we see 10-2 / CFP until something changes on defense . . .
And folks say our scheme on offense precludes that from happening . But in fairness, though our offense evolved some this year . . . It was underwhelming at times.

Going to depend heavily on defensive staff improvements. Whether Coach Heupel talks with Coach Banks and they get it worked out and redirected or coach makes staffing changes. Either of those happen, and we're signing up for a potentially good year, 9-3 is the floor in that scenario.

If neither occurs, it gets dark and I fear some of these 7-5 predictions end up more accurate.

I don't see 6-6 or worse in any scenario.

With the roster that we know of right now, I'll say 10-2 maybe 9-3. That could change based on what our roster looks like compared to that of our opponents, though.
