What RB will start next year?

Have to wait till spring obviously...but I could put money on Creer or Oku. If Hardesty makes through the offseason without an injury :crossfingers: he will have a damn good shot at starting. Saying that, I think they will all see PT.

Our best RB that we have.....Senior, Freshman, or walkon I don't care.......Just hit the hole and run downhill for a change! Oh......yeah.....hit the hole if one is available.

Creer.....Has unlimited potential has a north-south runner.Sweeps, draws, out of the backfield passes.

Needs to work on blocking in all aspects.

You match him to his strengths and unleash him.
I don't think you will be disappointed.

i like Hardesty myself, but overall I'm pretty excited about what this group plus the newcomers (whoever they are) can do.

I think Hardesty will be the starter, but I would suspect that CLK will give the other plenty of pt also.

It'll definitely be a 2 back system. If Hardesty is healthy he'll start with Creer getting a lot of reps as well.

Mark it down, we're going to miss having Arian Foster next year. A lot of people here were anxious to see Ainge leave, and look a what has happened.

Creer will be the Reggie Bush and Hardesty the LenDale White. These are loose comparisons, of course. But it'll be a split-carry situation.

I'm really split on this... if you remember at the press conference Kiffin was talking alot about how he wanted to get the new recruits in there and see who is ready to carry the load. That really makes me think one of the new guys coming in like Oku, Giles *if he commits to us, or Toney Williams could possibly be our next starter. Reason why I believe one of them would possibly start over Creer or Hardesty is because neither have really established themselves.... sure they show flashes of greatness, but really there wasn't much to see that we or Kiffin could say that's our starter. I definitely think Creer is a much better north and south type runner than Foster, and I believe Hardesty is a much better goal line type back. Either way I think Kiffin will pick the best RB.

It is far easier to replace a starting RB than it is replacing a starting QB.

id like to see one of the new guys really establish himself like the bama backs have this year, hit the ground running, aggressively

You mean Arian Foster won't be here next year? I needed one more year of pterodactyl talk.

Whoever the starter is next year. He will get 1200 yards. Kiffin is going to have the boys playing physical. Physical play means a good running game!

I think Creer has more speed than Hardesty. I would like to see him start. Maybe Oku will be the STUD he is supposed to be. Who knows?

Creer has the most potential of all the backs IMO. Hardesty is the best all-around back at this point. I think Creer will start and both will get pretty equal amounts of carries.

The more I keep reading into the way Kiffin thinks it'll be he'll put the best players out there in the best places they have a impact. And if a true freshman comes along he thinks gets the starting nod so be it.

Need more proof on how he thinks then check the sports in saturday's Tennessean.

And that thought is scary because Hardesty is terrible at blocking and catching the ball out the backfield.

Young guys will have a great opportunity to come in and show what they got. They couldn't have asked for a better situation.
