Is that it's over. Maybe 2021 is the last year because you can't fired a coach in this Covid year. But he can't recruit. He has 3 qb that all suck. And he feels that by coaching up players who suck so they can become better than Peyton is just insane. How all these other schools can get transfers and we can't is on Pruitt. He's a DC he can coach up what he has if they are talented. But he can't coach up bad players. Then he made JG the leader of the team and when he threw 2 pick 6s he pulled him and the entire team turned on him. Then the back up throws an int. Then you expect JG to go back in and energize the team. Or the team to believe in their chances. I've seen plenty of All Americans throw 3-4 picks that led to touchdowns and the coach stayed with him. He can't coach. Then the team gave up. It wasn't a shoot out. It was a blow out.

The team didn’t turn on Pruitt. The defense quit after those three plays because they realized again that the offense can’t score and that it was over

The team has quit on JG.....If things don't change quick they will quit on Pruitt.

JG shares a big part of the blame, but many vowels gave up today and no one will ever forget it, nor should they....... I can’t stand athletes that give up..... they are the true losers

I think the team actually plays hard for him. The defensive game plans seem to always be just what we need. I still don’t know who we are on offense, and that’s partly on Pruitt but it’s more on Chaney, IMO.

Either way, it’s no way Pruitt can go with JG after today. Gotta give HB all the first-team reps and let him take his lumps. I wasn’t all the way with some of you on that before today, but I am now.

Like Pruitt to coach the Defense, except for slants which he will never cover, but he is not a head coach. He just doesn't seem to know how to manage a team overall.

JP can turn it around by going all in with HB. The JG experiment has got to be over. JG not being good enough got Jones fired and is going down the same road with JP.

I think most of them, probably even more so than any of us, are realizing that he's not a HC.

He doesn't have an overall plan for thr team, he's just playing DC and letting his offensive staff wallow around without any direction or leadership.

All you Pruitt home run hire folks are turning on him...just like you did with Butch and Dooley. It's funny.
6 quarters of bad Butch Ball will do that. This is Y3. We all want new coaches to succeed and try to find reasons they're going to be successful. I can understand hard fought losses while seeing improvement. It's well within everyone's rights as Vol fans to highly question what we saw today. Pruitt's not done, but step 1 is to get the D back on track, step 2 is figure out what's wrong w/ OL. Step 3 (or really step 1) is figure out the QB. All these guys getting paid alot to know how to fix it.

Watching first few minutes of Bama/UGA game...CBS primetime vs Bama is bad week to circle the wagons.

Oh I'm with you...we suck, have sucked, will suck. It's just funny how it takes folks 2+ years to figure out a coach is not the right one

Pruitt recruited 3 of his own QB's that he said were great, but none gas been developed to be ready to play. That is a failure.
