What pros do rogers/hunter remind you of?

Rucker said a scout said Hunter was like AJ Green.

I personally don't see it. The hunter/moss comparison is obvious because of the size and leaping ability.

With DR, Calvin Johnson comes to mind. Calvin seems bigger than DR tho. A faster Michael Crabtree maybe?

ok ok ...sooo who ever said one of our WR is like Hakeem Nicks, my comment is are u crazy? i think that kid is garbage.. not because I went to NC State but b.c he had one good year and he is physically gifted. Rodgers is like a shorter version of Calvin Johnson aka Megatron.. Hunter is soo smooth he seems like a Randy Moss his Rookie season in the NFL. But at the end of the day, i rather them be themselves than try to emulate some other Wide out.. just sayin..imo

Nicks caught 80 balls for 1,000 in 13 games, straight garbage.

Hunter reminds me of Lynn Swann. I was really young when Swann played, but from what I remember he would go way, way, up to catch a pass. I remember thinking that all the quarterback had to do was just get the ball in his general direction and he would catch it.

well never sour grapes dude b.c he never, i repeat.. NEVER beat NC State... they had no one to throw to other than nicks. i saw one great game from him in college and that was the MCB in Charlotte vs Wva .. I think he is in a great system with other developed wr. I mean Steve Smith is really great for the GMen... but i still Hicks is terrible..jmo

Justin Hunter = Fitzgerald

Da Rick Rogers = Boldin

Rogers has a long way to go before he creates creditability for his route running and catching skills.

if he puts on more muscle, he can be great over the middle as well.

Hunter needs to continue to create separation and he will be a big play receiver at the next level.

Probably a little early for this.

Extremely early for this. Darick has more carries than receptions and you are comparing him to Brandon Marshall, TO, and Calvin Johnson?!? Hahahah...

After this season we'll have a better guage on their talent. There's no Luke Stocker, GJ, or D-Moore to take the focus off of them this season. This is going to be fun to watch though IMO... bout to reply to the most ridiculous comparison...

Calvin is much bigger, and Crabtree is much more the DeAnthony Arnett style rather than Da'Rick's physical game.

Hunter/Moss is an obvious thought, but there is a lot, LOT more we need to see out of him before going there. Physically his build is similar, and Da'Rick is built more like a TO type, but we're really going to have to be patient and see how they come along. I am looking for Da'Rick to have more receptions than Hunter, but Hunter to have more TD's. Don't sleep on Arnett coming out of the slot either.

Speculation is fun, but comparing these kids to the forementioned, proven Hall of Fame WR's is a tad premature, and is setting yourself up for disappointment. If you are looking for Moss out of Hunter, and end up with a Peerless Price type game and stats, you'll have no reason to feel disappointed, but your expectations weren't met. Lets be completely honest, at this point, Da'Rick reminds me more of a Pierre Garcon than anyone.

Go Vols!!!

I have watched Hunter play since he was a Freshman at Ocean Lakes. After watching Larry Fitzgerald in the Super Bowl I knew that Justin possesed a lot to the skills that Larry has (rough skills but similar).

Justin Hunter reminds me of AJ Green for many reasons, who I guess is technically a pro. Rogers reminds me of Hines Ward with his physicality and across the middle and underneath routes. I think he has a breakout year in 2011!
