how many of those were safety valve tosses that resulted in zero or negative yardage?

Couldn't tell ya. However, Chris Brown averaged 7.7 yards per catch, while Cottam averaged 13 yards per catch. Take what you will from that.

i thought we used the tight end pretty well last year, and we will probably throw to them even more this year

i'm worrying about the same thing this year as every year.... OL and DL.. In the trenches is where games are decided... Remember UF destroying our OL last year. We've got to run the ball this year on offense and get some pressure from our front four on defense so we can possibly drop into zone if we need to help out our inexperienced DBs
