Cornerback?
Defensive Tackle?
Wide Receiver?
Offensive Tackle?
Head Coach?

I think finding someone to play opposite Eric Berry at CB.

This might seem funny but I'm going to say qb. Everyone go ahead and get in line to crucify me. Obviously Ainge had a great year and we do have holes to fill at many positions but there a question marks for Ainge IMO.
First we are going to be young/inexperienced at wr and there are no leaders in the backfield because Coker/Foster/Hardesty still have a lot to prove. Ainge is a senior and will have to be the unquestioned leader of the team and offense for us to have a good year. He doesn't have experienced talent at wideout to lean on so his leadership and poise are going to have to carry the offense. Can he step up and lead his team? Will he elevate the play of the offense or fold in crunch time? He has yet to play an entire season because of injury/or lack of mental toughness. If we get a full season of great qb play from him we should be ok but if he can't handle the pressure then we could have a disastrous season.

Don't worry about Ainge worry about what WRs are talented enough to catch for Ainge. Im only confident in Hancock, Lucas and Rodgers have to prove themselves. I really believe two of the starting WRs will be Freshman ( G. Jones and Vinson ). Secondary has major questions without-a-dought being that we only have one player with experience. Again, the secondary will consist of a couple of freshman and mark that down. Eric Berry is talented enough to start as well as Nevin mcKenzie.

Nevin is JUCO as well as Willingham, which means they need to step up now. I believe our coaches signed them knowing they could come in and compete or they probly would have never signed a JUCO.

What has Hancock done to make you so confident in him other than what you have heard coaches say in the paper? Rodgers has a lot less to prove than Hancock. There is no way in hell our two starting wr's will be freshman.

I don't believe Monday morning QB was one of the original choices. Has Vicki been messing with the polls again?

To tell you the truth I have faith in Cutcliffe, Trooper and co. with the new receivers coming in. What my biggest concern about is our DBs, the coaching, i believe, is what it's going to come down to.. though I believe our coach is definitely capable of getting them into shape/play for SEC.. I think that someone really needs to step up on our Defense and become a leader. hopefully the newcomers will bring that with them and it will reflect on all our players.. then, we will be ready for a SECCG/BCS game

UT has good prospects at WR, O'neal and Vinson. DT has 2 returning players who saw significant playing time, Bolden and Mapu. I'm more concerned about who plays opposite Berry at CB. I'm guessing he will be thrown at heavily.

I would think Hefney and (Wow, my mind is blank; the white LB, many believe to be undersized) will step up to be the leaders on this defense. I just hope the new guys who are coming in bring that mentality to the team, that away, it should be more of an influence on the other players to step up.. if that happens that's when the defense gains that confidence yet maintain that juggernaut mentality.. the other team knows UT is dangerous with that confidence on Defense. to see that type of confidence as we did in the 98 season was a thing of beauty.. i hope this D can achieve the same.

edit: sorry, LB is Karl--Brain fart

Anyone know how Fisher is doing? As I recall he had shoulder surgery but I'm not sure how well he's recovering. He could be a major piece to the D's success if he gets things rolling.

Hefney will need to have the same calming effect on the defense that Ainge will on the offense. I honestly hope Berry doesn't start at Cal. I don't think he'll come in and be world's enough better than Willingham, Kemp, Johnson, etc, to merit his 1st big road game being his 1st game.

I wonder if we will see more 4-2-5 and 3-5-3 in an effort to throw bodies at the problem?

I have to go with DT. I think the new guys coming in at WR and DB will be fine (especially the JUCO guys), and while I think the starting DTs will be fine, I am very worried about depth.
