I will say top 8.

I know that NFL GM's have tic about drafting Safeties in the top 5.

Safeties usually don't go very high, but given EBs physical skill set and versatility, he could possibly go in the top half of the draft. The fact that he can basically play any position in the back 7 of a defense is huge.

If he wins the heisman, he has to be top 10. He will probably move around a lot, kind of like Troy Polamalu at the next level. But he could just be a pure safety/CB.

Well...ask knowshon moreno if he should be top 5...then after you ask him ask that Maze guy from Bama'....yeah taylor mays is bigger BUT he's goin in this years draft not next year...

2007- Laron Landry (1st Rd. 6th pick)
2006- Michael Huff (1st Rd. 7th pick)
Donte Whitner (1st Rd. 8th pick)
2004- Sean Taylor (1st Rd. 5th pick)
2002- Roy Williams (1st Rd. 8th pick)

I think Eric Berry is just as good as anyone of these guys selected in prior first rounds....and this is damn good company.....especially sean taylor....the best safety to ever play the game

Interesting -- the Redskins have the highest safety draft choices 3 years apart.

I could see him going to the Saints if they don't get a safety this year. What other teams have a drastic need at safety that would cause them to draft a safety high?
