What percentage of MS's stadium will be orange?

From what I have heard, this is the one away game most fans are attending. A few reasons such as cost of tickets at Bama and Gainesville not being very inviting. Also, Starkville has not been a destination for Vols fans in awhile.
I am still blown away how Volnation showed up in Norman last year. That was very impressive.

Yes, but don't forget how Neyland has spoiled us. 10k there is ~16.7% of the stadium.
Agreed

The capacity for State's stadium is a tad bit over 61K. Some of the numbers being thrown out like 25% of an orange crowd don't seem reasonable. But who knows? It would be a great showing if there over 10K UT fans in attendance.

I’ll take the opposite side and say that 25% is only 15k, which seems super reasonable given the way VN travels plus what others are saying about this being a relatively easy and inexpensive destination for a lot of Vol fans.

I grew up in Memphis and my parents were Memphis St season ticket holders. Miss St was the SEC team that always seemed to be on their schedule. I just remember going to Starkville for away games and being obsessed with those damn cowbells as a kid.
I don't remember going to any other away games but remember the cowbells.

50% orange? no way man, I think this game is too hyped up for MS that they will show up
Yep. Not a chance we have that many. They have this one circled and it's going to be a buzz saw. Not sure what the road team allotment is but we'll be lucky to get much more than that.

We'd better come with the same or greater level of energy we did with UGA or my fears of this being the Heupel stinker game will come to pass.

Question: Are they allowed to ring those stupid cowbells when we're at the line of scrimmage? I know the home team depends on big crowd noise to disrupt the offense, but is artificial noise like cowbells allowed? I don't think they allow the band or PA system to make noise to disrupt the opposing offense, just not sure about the cowbells. Sorry, I haven't bothered to watch much MS State.

Might be wrong, but I think they look the other way on the bells. MSU rings 'em as much or any time they want I suspect. Then again I really don't follow State unless we're playing them.

I was curious and did some googling: SEC conference games are required to have at minimum 2000 tickets allocated for visitors, of which at least 1000 must be in a single block together.
