What other teams do you follow besides the Vols?

Not the point of being a fan, but what other teams do you follow and want to do good?

I have a few. Obviously I like The Vols in the SEC, one reason why I post here.

I also somewhat root for Clemson (live here, hard not to follow them).

UCF - got a degree from UCF and met my wife there, hard not to like them.

I don't expect anyone to say Florida, so you don't have to pretend to be nice to me. Just trying to find off season topics to discuss with you guys to make the summer more fun. This is Vol related, so I hope it doesn't get moved :)

I also follow the Vols for family reasons and I also cheer for UNC. I have alot a family that are alumni and I am glad to see Butch Davis get them on the right path.


I also pull for Boise State as thier fans were absolutley awesome when we played them in 2005.

Probably get railed for this but, I follow Memphis when I'm not rooting for the Vols. I graduated from there with a BBA and a MBA and am getting ready to return for my Ph. D. so, I feel a small amount of loyalty there. Of course, no one compares to my Vol love.

I also love the Titans. Otherwise, as long as they aren't playing the Vols, I always root for SEC East when playing in the SEC, and I always root for any SEC school vs. any other conference in any sport. (Except for maybe KY in basketball because I HATE Calipari just about as much as I hate coach X.)

Grizzlies/Hawks in NBA, and Braves in MLB.

I grew up in eastern North Carolina. Pops went to NCSU, and my best friend had season tix to ECU games. As a kid, I enjoyed going to about three NCSU games a year, and the same for ECU.
Now, I will watch them if they are on TV, but I really don't have the time to follow them like I once did...or like I do with UT sports.
I care more about pro sports now than as a kid. Panthers, Cubs, Columbus Crew, Bobcats (recent development)

Edit: I forgot to mention that I like to see Wake Forest do well in basketball too. I realize that they are a rival of NCSU's, but I had a friend play bball for them during the Chris Paul years, so that was a lot of fun getting to go watch that team play.

Army fan and pull for Duke in hoops because their coach is an Army grad. Pull for RMKnight because he coached at Army before taking the IU gig.

I pull for UT, Tennessee, the Big Orange, and the Volunteers.
If I HAD to pick 1 SEC team to win the NC aside from Tennessee... I'd say Auburn. Just cause they aren't really a TN rival and it would hurt Alabama.

I pull against USC for a single obvious reason.
And against ND because they are the most overrated/stubborn program in the country.

I follow Florida a lot, but it's not to root for them. It's in hopes that you guys make some kind of mistake and I can call the NCAA and report you.

Since that isn't happening yet, I just follow you guys and get nervous because we are at least 3 years behind you guys.

Tennessee-Auburn used to be kind of a big deal when they used to play each other every year...

I'm a Vol fan first, but in general I'm a fan of any SEC football. I can watch about ANY SEC football game on any Saturday, even if it doesn't involve the Vols. There is just something about SEC football, no other conference has that "it" factor when it comes to football.

Well, since I'm a student at LSU right now, I'll cheer for them until they play UT. Other than that, I've always been a Bob Stoops fan so Oklahoma is on my list. However, neither of those teams come close to UT in my book.

Thats true... but in comparison to Bama, FL, and GA. I picked from teams that have a reasonable shot to actually win a NC also.

Being a VOL in the Metro Atlanta area, I have recently started pulling for GA Tech. I love to watch live football and its convenient to get to Bobby Dodd Stadium. It helps that a buddy has season tickets so its always free to go. Plus any fan base that hates UGA as much as I do deserves my support.

I love Tennessee!! I absolutely hate the irish with a passion!!

My uncle had season football tickets to Vanderbilt for over 50 years, on the second row mid-field, and used to take me some so I pull for them except when they play the Vols. He has seen them lose ALOT in his lifetime lol :birgits_giggle:

1 - Tennessee (Vol since the day I was born)
2 - Boise State (Boise, Idaho is one of my favorite places in the USA)
3 - Air Force (I'm in the Air Force & I'm friends with several USAFA alumni)
4 - UCLA (Because they have awesome fans & they hate USC as much as I do)

Pro Teams Ranked:

1 - Colorado Rockies
2 - Tennessee Titans
3 - Indianapolis Colts
4 - Nashville Predators
5 - San Antonio Spurs
6 - Columbus Crew

Grew up in Knoxville listening to the Braves and the radio and watching on TBS. Just started really getting interested in soccer, since ESPN and Fox have been showing it more, although I have always watched the World Cup when it was on. Liverpool is my favorite team.

Not a huge pro basketball fan but I like to watch Cleveland when I can....
Tiger Tiger Tiger in golf ......

Also almost always pull for the SEC in all sports against out of conference foes, but I do like a good upset even against the sec if it doesnt involve my Vols.

Atlanta Braves and TN Vols...and that's about it. I root for SC when they play FL and Clemson.

I went to MTSU for a year, so I follow them a little and hope they do well. Also, half of my family is from Michigan, so I have always had a soft spot for the Wolverines and the Detroit pro teams. I have great memories of the late 80s Pistons. But anyway... I am a Vol and Tennessee boy through and through when it comes to priorities.

i hate hate penn state!!!!! so im a fan of anybody who plays them and florida and notre dame.!!!!! on the pro side of things,... anybody who play the cowgirls....although i do want witten to do good.
