Hmmm, I think UConn is a better team than Austin Peay. You can never take ANY game for granted.

I’ve got a good friend that is a UConn grad. Moved down here about 7 years ago on a whim and he loves it. One of my favorite people to talk Tennessee football and basketball with, he appreciates the culture and the enthusiasm. Said UConn only has that in women hoops, so he was shocked that a lot of us are 365 days a year bleeding orange.

He started listening to some of the locals feigning shock that he would go to this game wearing UConn gear. Now he’s terrified of going to the game and won’t even take a free ticket just to get him to go.

I don’t know what the point of this is, but it’s hilarious to me that we’ve finally reached a point again where other fanbases are skeptical of the good natured folks of East Tennessee.
