-Tennessee can name the score in this one fellas.
-This will be a good game to get playing time for a lot of players. I suspect Tennessee is thinking the same.
-An angry Tennessee team will not be good for us.
-They're going to hang 70 on us. They can play their second and third string and still outmatch us, and those 2's and 3's want to score and look good on film.
-This is probably going to be ugly, but this would be a tough game (and a likely loss) for anyone in the AAC.
-Tennessee is in the mood to kick stray dogs and we're about to wonder into their front yard.
-Yes this is one of the few games left a potential RS player can put themselves on tape for Tenn or potential portal coaches. This has potential to get ugly fast.
-ESPN now has it Tennessee -40.5
-Gotta hope for a Tennessee let down after that emotional game with Georgia last Saturday. And by let down, I mean that we keep it within 35 points.
-If you watched the Coffee with coach...he is only talking about getting better and that the game is David (UAB) versus Goliath with a T.
In year 3, that is the game week message. We are still teaching our players how to play and working through mistakes.
It might get to 85 points hung on the once proud UAB program..
-I remember when we would joke about having to play a pro team, and now we really are playing a professional team. These types of games have now become a total waste of time from a sports fan's perspective. We might as well be playing the Titans in Nashville. The only good thing about these 85-7 games is that it shows this isn't college football anymore.
-Buy games help the bottom line if nothing else. You're going to get at least a million and a half for this one. I believe we got similar for FSU last year and every penny counts.
-If Tennessee hangs 70 plus, Dilfer should be fired. His "new and improved" defense would've allowed nearly 200 points in the first 4 games.
