Did they have any significant injuries out of yesterday’s game? Thought I saw Nolen go down and the QB looked a little beat up at the end.

After being present at the UF debacle, I am nervous about every opponent we play. I think we can compete in every game if we are mistake-free, the receivers hold on to the ball and Joe isn't all over the place with his throwing. Still not sold on our defensive backfield therefore our D-line needs to show up and show out for every game.

-Win turnover margin
-Complete enough downfield passes to keep them from stacking the box.

If our lads do those two things, it will turn out pretty much how those Aggie fans expect.
Bru was our go to guy at anytime for a positive result. Squirrel is having a great year. 26 catches for 276 yards. Ramel Keyton has 14 catches for 230 yards and 3 td’s, but has had some bad drops. However, where is Dont’e Thornton, he has basically been MIA (I know he was injured last week). He has 7 catches for 89 yards. All of the hype must have been due to his physical size because his best year at Oregon was 17 catches for 366 yards and 1 TD. He needs to step up in a big way for our offense to be what we hope it can be. I’m pulling for him to breakout Soon!

A&M is a team with a lot of talent and can’t be overlooked. They are more than capable of playing a great game and they are much better than either Florida or South Carolina.

We cannot sleep on them for one second.
I agree. Anyone who thinks this is a Vol win by showing up doesn’t understand just how many talented (especially on the defensive front) players they have. I’m hoping our front takes the challenge of proving they are just as good and pressure a pretty decent QB for A&M. I fully expect a hard fought game.

A&M is solid up front - which I hope we can neutralize with Cooper Mays back and an up-tempo approach. However, we’re just so inconsistent, especially in big games. Losing to a team like Florida just keeps the doubts alive about whether or not this team has what it takes to be championship relevant.

Playing at home will be a positive factor. It’ll be interesting to see if we can get it done. I don’t want to see Tennessee (yet again) help a struggling opponent get back on the right track by giving them a win.

Not sure why A&M fans would be so down on their chances. Our team has a lot of potential, but most of that is unrealized up to the point.

As we know, A&M has a bunch of talent, but it’s their mindset that’s an unknown. If they show up motivated and ready to play it will be a tough game. That said, the psyche of that whole program is on the rocks so who knows.

I would definitely take Heupel over Jimbo all day every day and twice on Sunday. Also, the off week and home crowd should give us a significant advantage.

We “should” win but we also should have won at Florida.

They sound like us when Pruitt was here. That contract they gave Jimbo might turn out to be the worst move in CFB this century

Yes. I think Jimbo has been overrated for years and they suck.

Jimbo is a clown. To let a minute run off the clock going for it on 3rd and a million only to burn a timeout and kick the FG you should have kicked in the first place and cost your team a legit shot to win, is beyond unacceptable at any level of football, but is a fireable offense for a guy making $9 million in the SEC.

Texas A&M fan base does not believe one bit. It’s ugly folks.

-Petrino is a joke for yesterday, we’re going to get clowned at Tennessee.

-Yeah, this team isn’t going to improve with Petrino still here, we end up losing 5-6 more.

-We can’t run, pass protect, or make adjustments. Tennessee will do to us what they did to South Carolina.

-Tennessee is better than Alabama, they’ll man handle us.

-Our offense needs work, our defense needs work. We lose at least 5 more.

-Our offensive line is complete garbage. Tennessee will sack Johnson all day long.

-I am really not looking forward to the remainder of our SEC schedule, it’s going to get ugly.

-Y’all think we’re gonna make a bowl this year?

-A bowl game? Yeah right dude

-We are stuck with Jimbo for at least 4 or 5 more years. The best thing to do is smile, get drunk, and enjoy the few wins we get.

-This coaching staff is a clown show, I’ll contribute to whatever we have to do to get them to leave.

-The funny thing is that there are some Tennessee fans on their boards that actually think we are a good team lol.

- 2 losses in a row on CBS coming right up. That’ll do some wonders in recruiting Jimbo.

- I don’t even have a problem with Tennessee and I still won’t after I turn this game off early next weekend.

- I still want to drink the kool aid for this season but my mom is telling me no.

- It sucks we lost to Alabama, it’s really going to suck when we lose more.

- My wife asked me why I don’t get upset anymore. I told her that I go into every game expecting a loss, it’s easier this way.

- The coaching staff can’t be trusted for a home game against the worst Alabama team in years, what makes you think they can be trusted in Knoxville?

- Tennessee may be able to name the score Saturday.

- I just want Jimbo gone and for all of this to be over with. Jimbo is 6 years in and we haven’t done anything.

- We’re not good enough to predict any upcoming wins.

- I wanna smoke a pack of cigarettes after every Jimbo coached game.

Defense needs to pin their ears back and pressure Johnson all day long.

A&M knows that for them to have any chance to win the West they had to beat Bama. They are probably happier than anybody that this is the last year they have to play Bama every year.

Did you forget what it was like Beldar's last year? As bad as the week after UF was, it's been a lot worse.
You speak so much logic. BVS has some folks stressing about an early season 13 point loss to Florida in the swamp... and forgetting about the seasons of futility that included the gators 47-21 beat down in Neyland in 2018. Our Vols are in good hands these days. Relax and enjoy the pleasure of football in the fall.

Tennessee does have a caliber front seven. The offense is a question mark. That is what will settle the debate.

The absolute worst thing we could do is absorb their grief and start thinking this will be an easy win. Great teams do not overlook any opponent, regardless of rank or prestige. That is how we end up with 2022 USCjr. Their fans may be calling it quits, but in all likelihood, their team will not. Play every team like it's our Superbowl. Fans need to show up like it's our Superbowl. 100% energy all game, every game.
