What Other Message Boards Are Saying: Sooners Edition

I agree. I believe if we had 2-3 good juco olinemen we'd be all they could handle. As it stands IMO we are about 2 good linemen away.

We did bring in a juco lineman he was beat out by a former walk on...the OL will be fine

I remember "SEC Cheats" being brought up on an Oklahoma board in the lead up to Florida's national title game with the Sooners.

It was as if everyone decided to forget they employed a coach named Barry Switzer.

Drugs, cash, hookers, Uzis iirc.

Shorter than short man syndrome.

I'll ad this irrational post for the overly optimistic and the rival fans looking for laughs. UT is about a decade removed from it's last true underdog win. They do go in cycles and Butch is a damn inspiring dude. AJ and Sutton alone will leave them wishing we never came to play.

Dear Double D,
Thank you for your irrational post!!
Signed, 1 of the overly optimistic! :)

If our Oline wasn't bad I would say we'd have a chance, but our Oline is not good. I just hope Worley doesn't get hurt. Poor guy got hit a lot yesterday.

Agree 100%. Quick slants, fly sweeps, screens, WR screens, short dumps to the TEs..

Roll Worley out and give him plenty of options. If nothing's there, throw it to the sidelines and repeat.

Only way we win this game IMO.

I think the pass/run ratio should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 70/30. If we get a run for longer than 10 yds, I'll be shocked.

I disagree with this if we will just run to the outside. Our TE's are very good and our O-line is much more mobile than last year. Hurd/Lane sweeps and runs to the outside seem to be very successful, especially since Hurd can absolutely truck a defender in 1 on 1 situations.

They finished ranked #4.

We finshed 5-7, for the 3rd consecutive year.

If that's not an upset, nothing is.

We finished that season with one healthy reciever and a true freshman QB. If that's not comparing chicken **** to chicken salad I don't know what else is.

I'll buy that.. I was really referring more to the zone read crap that takes FOREVER to develop and has ended up in a TFL 50% of the time.

I mean, if you wanna try and stand up and say us beating SC wasn't an upset, go for it.

Wow

Went to an OU game last year and I am here to tell you that our marching band is much better than theirs.

I gave great respect for OU, Wilkinson, etc. I hope the OU fans sitting around me have the same respect for UT. I'm too old to go to jail.

I'd like to see a video sunday of you yelling "Comin straight outta Compton", then go ape shiznit on @ a dozen fans like Bruce Lee.

make it happen

Admittedly I hate OU with a passion. Their third behind, Florida, and Bama. They have the worst fans hands down. Don't believe what you see on the Internet...

The only reason they beat Bama like they did last year is because Bama wasn't up for the game. Anybody who watched that game could see that. Bama would win that gm 9 out of 10 times. Their fan base is going to live on that win forever it seems like. I would love to see them play in the SEC for one season seeing how Stoops is one of the biggest bashers of our confrence. There would be nothing sweeter than to come out of Norman with a W!

That's the strategy we should go with IMO. No need to take chances deep that often or try pound it up the middle every play. Little dinks and dunks to keep the chains moving will work just fine

I really hate that crap on third and short. If we need a yard why not just line up in the power i formation and run a lead dive
