What other message boards are saying (Miss st. Post game edition)

Few years ago ACL tears didn’t happen. Good to know.

No clue what’s going on with Gibson, but the fact that the grapevine almost immediately said he wouldn’t be back this year tells me it has nothing to do with toughness. Put the bottle down
He has a pec muscle tear. Nobody is playing with that.

I was thinking the same thing. He wont be at State for long.
Yeah, and Clark Lee's going to have a Brinx truck parked in front of his house. If you can breathe life into Vandy after 60 years of irrelevance, you are a genius. He would be smart to leave. Pavio is a big reason they are winning and he is gone next year. I wonder if FL will go after him or even AU. I think Frieze is gone now.

-What a weird game. They dropped a punt and we got 2 picks on a tipped ball and then the ball bouncing off the TE's helmet. They scored 2 defensive TD's. Blame Shapen if you want- but their pass rush was the difference.

-We didnt run the ball enough in the 1st half. We were gashing them with their 5 man box but somehow felt we needed to throw

-We have the right HC and are moving in the right direction as a program. We got to get #1 some more OL guys and another weapon or 2 for next season. But this program has taken a giant step forward this season.

-We had 6 key players go down with injuries. SIX! That’s too much to overcome

-Shapen sucks, any competent qb and we win this game.

-I’m not sure why some of you are saying we have the right coach. Lebby is a joke. A good coach wins a game like that.

-35 minutes before game time and and except for students, east side upper and lower was at least 80% UT. Pathetic

-The east side did look like a Vols home game. Embarrassing.

-I sit in Section 19 and there was way too much orange and I hear the upper deck was much worse. I hope the State fans that sold them their tickets choke on the money.

-Tennessee fans had us outnumbered 55:45 unfortunately. The East side was 75:25 UT fans.

-We really have fans that honestly think that there is no difference between playing QB at Nocubee HS and in the SEC. It's the only logical conclusion I can come up with at this point.

-We are still a work in progress. Much improved and so is our coaching stuff. Yes we made mistakes but big thing is keep recruiting and get some talent.

-Folks we shouldn't have been in this game tonight. This was an exceptional effort by the team. Mistakes are part of who we are.

-We are beating Ole Miss in Starkville!

-Face it! It was nut cutting time and Shapen and Lebby choked again. Not sure why I keep wasting my time with this year in and year out.

-Ended in heartbreak, just like I knew it would. The sad story for years as a State fan.

-This loss is squarely on Shapen, Lebby, and the o-line.
We won and too many people on here sound like that.

Well, traveling Tennessee fans are legion. If they’re tickets for sale, Vols fans will buy them. So, if you’re hosting Tennessee, expect a lot of Orange. If you want to keep us out of your stadium, buy up the tickets outside of Tennessee’s allotment, and give them to local school kids.

Hey, he's not alone. This was my choice in the pick 'em thread among others for the Heupel stinker, too. Glad to be wrong....again. Having said that, I think we're being lulled into a false sense of security with this MSU win. The REAL Heupel stinker for '25 will be Kentucky. You heard it here first. ;)
I try to just ignore your babble but now you're trying too hard. I know you're not stupid and anything is possible, but that sentence is just stupid.

That is all.

Spurrier won at Duke before Florida so that transition would be very similar. Not sure that coaching style is similar though.

Vols fan in Aggieland. Several years ago, when Tennessee played basketball and was ranked number one at TAMU, an Aggie fan complained on one of their message boards “There’s a crap ton of orange here.” I was there and I would guess about 25-30% was Tennessee fans, including me. The Vols always draw well here, so I’m delighted they made their presence known in Starkville.

I couldn't believe they didn't run the ball much more. If so, they win. Vols bad zero answers against the run and this will continue to be a major issue. Saw the weakness against Syracuse and knew it would be a problem all season. Vols have no run defense, do not have quality dtackles and no depth there. Linebackers getting worked into the ground. No reason Carter is having to do so much at LB, unfortunately he has too much of a work load. He was a hoss last night and a real difference maker. Hoping he makes it through the whole season. I hate to say this but Vandie will be one of the teams that will make us pay for this weakness. Guess Vols will have to score upper 40s or into the 50s to win.

I disagree. That was the road stinker and we fortunately came out with a win. It was basically a higher scoring version of Arkansas last year with mistake after mistake. Not only that, Commonwealth Stadium doesn’t compare to Davis Wade when the fans are red hot ringing the cowbells.

Not so fast. Kentucky has uga and Texas before us. They’ll be 2-4. Gonna be tough on them.
