I read on some of their boards that Iowa doesn't defend the read option or sweeps to the edge very well. Sounds perfect for us!

I look forward to these threads when you create them. Good job, and thanks for doing them.

The B1G is definitely behind the SEC in the strength of the conference, but in my experience with Iowa fans they are leaps and bounds above most SEC fan bases in regards to class. Must be the corn. Based on the "girls of Iowa" thread it works wonders for their women. :)

OP, are you planning to update this thread up until the bowl game? I am curious what they will be saying as it gets closer.

Yeah I could take a look and see what they are saying. If there are any noticeable points of interest I'll post them here. I'm going to assume it's still Meltdownville over there regarding how bad they want their coaching staff gone, but I'll check it out.

They got murdered by Iowa State in basketball this weekend, so the majority of their butthurt is now focused on firing the basketball coach, not the football coach. It's going to get worse when they get their asses kicked by Northern Iowa in basketball this weekend. Basketball despair will probably be their default setting for the next week or so.

I am sure the football butthurt will ramp up again after Christmas. Consider it a late Christmas gift.

OP - Given the long layoff between the regular season and the bowl game, I think you should create a second version of this thread on Monday or Tuesday the week of the game. Will be interesting to see if their fans opinion has changed, and what they are thinking going into Kickoff.

Well, this sums it up. lol. The mood around the IC area is.. what bowl are we in again, and against who? what time? day? What, Jan 2nd? Are we in the poo bowl?? It's just a meh meh attitude.
