What other message boards are saying (Ball State Edition)

This was about the only message board I could find for Ball State. If any of you can find any more, please feel free to add. There was also a UT Fan on their board helping them with parking options for the Ball State fans coming to the game. Awesome of him to help.

I don't think believing they can hold UT to 45 points is realistic... unless they're talking about the 1st half.

Nah. When you get that high in numbers you’re kind of just doing it for style points. And maybe Heupel wants style points, I dunno. But when you’re at 50 or so against a beat-up team, tacking on from there really just comes down to what the coach wants to do.

I don't think one excludes the other. BSU is going to be badly overmatched physically... much worse than Mizzou or USCe were last year. The only thing that can stop UT vs BSU... is UT.

I particularly liked the one who predicted Tennessee wins by a last second field goal, 31-28. I remember being optimistic like that with Tennessee when we were wandering in the desert. Got over that in a hurry.

There are a lot of people that don't really understand that. Since we have so much continuity with this team and are so aggressive offensively it spells doom for teams like Ball State. Anyone predicting less than 50 is being silly.

UT could have a bunch of unexpected mistakes... or Heupel could just decide not to throw the ball at all. Those are the only two ways I see UT under 50.

I bet similar things were said by OSU fans when they played Perdue in 2018. Or by Michigan fans when they played App State in 1997.
