-I liked our effort and fight, fix the turnovers and our season would look a ton better. I think Bobby is great on offense. Hopefully we will get some defensive players for next year. I'd give the reins to Petrino. Don't think Arkansas will get a slash hire, and Petrino is probably the best we can do.

-We looked much better with Bobby as head coach.

-Three turnovers, inconsistent second half offense, and an inability to generate stops in obvious running situations, to lose a one score game again? Looks a lot like the same.

-I thought Petrino should have kicked it.
But my guess is after the 2 missed FG's at Ole Miss - he probably didn't have faith in the kicker on the road.

-3 fumbles from being 5-1.

-giving up 34 points to them with us having 3 turnovers is really not that bad. That third quarter was a killer again though.

-We can beat Auburn, Mississippi State, Missouri and Texas and A & M at home Might not but we can.

-Tough loss. Played hard but didn't matter.

-Offense did what it could ... Defense was still not up to it, but they did hold a 50+ point team to 34.

-Going to Tennessee and outplaying them without the turnovers is what contenders do.

-The usual. Timeouts haunt us.

-Very sweet of Bobby to pay tribute to Sam with a one-score loss on the road.

-Well - this team DID NOT lay down and give up!!!

-Do we just let random kids from campus play defense each week.

-Our defense made Aguilar look like Carl Lewis.

I think the final score is a little deceptive about what ifs, because had UT not been up 17 points in the 4th, had it been closer, UT would have played differently, changing from defensively protecting the lead by running out the clock before Arkansas could score 3 times to aggressively going quickly trying to score.

This is true. The coach went in run time off the clock mode. I really would have liked to see him keep the heat on for at least another score. The score ended up close because it became a let's just take our time and play safe.

Playing keep away with 8mins left scares the piss out of me as a TN fan. Run your offense like normal. Score and put it completely out of reach.

Abolutely, that is why we lost to Ga. Had we kept the up temo game against Ga. we would have beat them by at least 14 imo

The soft play in the fourth made this a game again. Had we kept the foot on the gas on both offense and defense the final may have been 34-17 or even 41-17 which would've been a blowout on paper. I'm glad to have Josh but I'll never understand the conservative play calling once we get a lead.

Arkansas fans must be clueless. Their offense scored less against us than other SEC teams. Their defense held us to fewer points than other SEC teams.

Everything you said is true but with the time that was left. The only way IMO for Arky to win this is for UT to stay in hyper mode and throw a pick 6. I like most believe if we would have kept the heat on at 34 to 17 it would have been a blowout. BUT if you throw a quick pick 6 or lose a fumble scoop and score the whole game changes. THEN ppl would be on here saying we had a 17 point lead why not just start running the ball milk the clock and take a win. Because bottom line that's the goal.
