Great Post, I'm sure everyone feels better now that we know you don't hate us but you don't consider us a rival and you remember Herschel trucking Bates in Neyland blah blah blah.

I hate Florida and I'm pretty close to...yea, I hate Georgia too. 49 years and being founding teams in the SEC is enough history for me.

Yea, y'all have whooped us good the last couple of years so not a lot we can say. But hey, at least when you guys come over here you confirm our opinions of you.

Bama fans show some respect as long as they are on top, but when we had them down and by the throat, they were absolutely the most hateful and disrespectful fan base in the country, stirred up by Finebaum.

That's typical. None of the schools Tennessee considers a big rival (Alabama, Florida, Georgia) considers Tennessee to be their biggest rival. Alabama looks at Auburn and LSU before us. Florida looks at Georgia and Florida St before us. Georgia looks at Florida and Auburn before us.

Tennessee fans, and rightly so, I think look at Georgia as our biggest rival in recruiting; we must go out of state in order to recruit, and Georgia (Atlanta metro in particular) is a close, highly concentrated area of recruits.

Tennessee's rivals? I don't like any of the other SEC teams and I hope they all lose ever Saturday, in every bowl game and the playoffs. Would like to see most of them on probation or be forced to hire Mike Hamilton as their Athletic Director or have their Board of Trustees set the academic bar higher than other schools for incoming freshman athletes. We know that would hamstring any program for at least 10 years.

I honestly have never really considered GA a rival either because for most of my time, they were fairly irrelevant. We rarely played each other, unlike the Gumps or even Auburn. And later, Spurrier was so much more fun to hate. GA only recently came back into the conversation as TN and Florida faltered in the east. Right now we are definitely rivals for talent but the truth is GA has always had a plethora of talent and almost always squandered it.

Took a peek at the Jarga Pups Rivals board and boy they are a sour bunch right now. Going to have to get them some Big Orange hatorade.

This Bama fan thinks our current recruiting success just materialized all of a sudden this year. Some of these young kids are really going to be surprised when we finally do "come from nowhere".

I’m 43. I am a Yankee living in Wisconsin. I became a Vol fan when I was 11 by two brothers who moved near me from Knoxville when I love Om Fort Wayne, IN.

I lived through Shuler, Manning, Tee, and a revolving door since then.

I HATE Florida. HATE.

I know I’m supposed to hate Bama the most. I know it in my mind.

I HATE FLORIDA THE MOST.
