Considering it looks 100% that Cut is gone, and granted that some Offenses are ran by the Head Coach and others by the OC...

What team offense style/scheme in the NCAA would you like to see at Tennessee?

Personally I would like to see Tennessee's offense we showed in the Championship game plus throwing downfield 1 out of every 4/5 passing plays.

something exciting....our offense is so dull and boring....the play calling in the last decade has made it hard to be a fan....

Early New Years resolutions for UT football team:
1. All WRs to not drop any passes, specially 1st dns & TD
2. RBs to not fumble, unless it results in a 1st dn
3. QBs to not throw to wrong colored jerseys
4. Coaches to use some imagination in play calling
5. Defense to not arm tackle, wrap em up
6. DBs to actually look for the ball, specially on fade rt.
7. Dcoaches to forget any scheme with the word prevent
8. OC to call TD pass play on 2nd and short a few times
9. Kicking teams to keep doing whatever you've changed
10. Win, Win, Win, and never lose.

I would like to see 3 WR and a TE going deep several plays a game. Flooding that cover 2 defense (2 deep zone) eveyone plays against UT.

I'd like to see some form of the option. It just gives defenses too much to think about. Sadly, our offense will not change. Fulmer was OC before HC and he will never change the offense.

I liked UT offense..............in 1998.

But it's about as likely to be back as those from the teams being mentioned.

Hey, maybe Cut will send us Duke's play book.

I agree w/ this one.
I understand why everyone brings up this point, but you have to realize that the plays that are called in these situations are not usually designed to go so short, but there is always a safety valve short if nothing else is open, and our QB has a tendency to check down to quick.

Many times the short throw is the primary receiver, as Ainge isn't even looking anywhere else. Your premise is correct, when that situation occurs, but more times than not the short throw is the intended one.

Only cause Ainge is scared to get hit.

There are also times when the WR cuts the route short.....I am not going to disagree with you, I was just pointing out that claims that all we ever do on third down is call plays designed for a catch short of the sticks are ridiculous.
