What Non-SEC foe would you like UT to play

Then again, I think it'd be fun to play the teams that border Tennessee that aren't in the SEC, too.......Mizzou, Virginia, and North Carolina.

-I'd like to see UT play Michigan State.
-I'd like to see UT play Penn State again.
-I'd like to see UT beat Notre Dame again.
-I'd like to see UT play FSU (a couple of my good friends are HUGE FSU fans)
-I can't wait until UT plays OSU. My buddy Jeff actually had the gall to tell me the other day that DeVier Posey is a better WR than Justin Hunter.
-UT-Oklahoma is gonna be one for the ages.
-Miami, just so my little brother would shut up.
-UCLA was always a great game, win or lose.
-I can't wait till we pound NC State into the Georgia Dome turf.
-I think Stanford would be a fun game to watch.
-(if it could have been pulled off for this year) Houston would have been fun. Case Keenum versus our secondary. Same goes for Kellen Moore and Boise State.


But above all else: Texas. Losing coach gives the winning coach a trophy proclaiming their university as the REAL "UT".

How come no one is excited about playing oregon again in 2013. I would love to get some revenge, and I bet by 2013 we will be in a great position to do so.

Virginia Tech for sure. Because where I live there are a bunch of Hokies and they ALL think they're awesome when in reality VT has not won a national championship in any sport :D

I would like to see you guys play the following:

Oregon at Autzen
USC at the Coliseum
Arizona State at Sun Devil Stadium
Texas A&M at Kyle Field
TCU at Carter Stadium


Boise State in Boise - ONLY if you guys roll them like Georgia did a few years ago to shut BSU fans up.

Tennessee vs Texas for the Davy Crockett Trophy.

Have symbols of Crockett's life in both states all over it along with both teams logos and pieces of school tradition. Make the stakes high by forcing the starting QB or HC of the losing team give it to the other teams mascot (the one wearing the costume of course) after the game at mid field.

This way its educational, entertaining, and who doest like the sound of UT vs UT.

1. GT- I am an Atlanta native but most all of my family has gone to UT. I have always wanted to see this pan out. Anytime we get stuck in the Peach Bowl I hope for this game.

2. TX- It's time for volnation to show the rest of the nation who the real UT is, once and for all. An annual pounding of Texas would demonstrate that clear enough. But on s serious note, it would be a great game year-in-year out. It could be a classic regular season opener, start us of with a bang every year.

3. VT- Kentucky is our toilet bowl. Vanderbilt is ****. It's time for us to start wiping our a$$es with VT.

I like the Idea, but regardless of the winner Crockett is all Tennessee :)

EDIT: BTW don't we play Memphis every year?

David Crockett Trophy is a cool idea! I like it TX v. TN!

I also want to see California driven before the Orange and White. I want to see them crushed, though I doubt it would become a rivalry.

I'd like to add a Nebraska or Purdue--- just to have a perennial Big 10 ragdoll to stomp.

If it happens, you'll see this Crockett quote on a lot of Texas T-shirts, "you may all go to hell, and I will go to Texas" - his words to his TN consituents upon losing his reelection to the House of Representatives.

Crockett's quote may show up, but its hard to deny that without the Vols, they'd just be a bunch of Mexicans.
