What, no discussion here of the jobs report? I'm shocked.

Last time I played was Northshore. Had a good round too.

Well, if the weather ever gets cooler let's play! LOL.

By the way, for the UCF game Saturday were you at the BWW over at 436 and Red Bug? That Ale House is so close to me, but seriously the food there blows compared to other Ale House's around town. Would be good to know if the BWW is a good place to watch games in the future.

You know, when college football starts up again for us Gator fans in a year. :cray:

How's it feel to be a member of the club?

I feel that my answer to that question can best be expressed by three very, very, short films.

74k jobs added. Big miss

According to an AP article I read this morning, unemployment rate fell from 7% to 6.7% the lowest since Oct. 2008. But the drop occurred mostly because more Americans stopped looking for jobs. The Feds count people as unemployed only if they are actively searching for work. The proportion of people working or looking for work fell to 62.8%, matching a nearly 36 year-low. Wow....great job from all the billions spent by the Administration on the job stimulus back what 4 years ago now?

you do the exact same thing with good news (although these numbers have really ever been good when you posted them)

A lot more seasonal employees got dismissed from the Walmart I work at than I've seen in the past two years I've worked there during the holidays. I would imagine it would have to do with the 2% payroll tax ending.

I discuss bad news, too. That's the difference.

Only the "manufactured" bad news from the 3 left-wing liberal loony TV News, that's in the back pocket of this Administration for all else to look bad, that's out about the Tea Party or about Republicans & about Libertarians. You just stick out your chest & gloat in it until proven to be a lie on it. Don't ask for examples because there's too many to list in this short thread & you know what they are.

Really hard to fathom how we get one of the biggest monthly drops in the UE rate in the last 5 years while only adding 74K jobs (given 200K or so is considered break even).

I realize they are different measures but this is really odd.

Also, the "big" number last month only shaved .1 off vs .3 this time.
