Hey I'm all for it. That config alone looks like it could hold one of those wide screen suckers the NFL uses now. Just add more board to either side for sponsors/score/stats...


What I'm thinking of goes all the way back to when they announced stadium renovations. That's far enough back for me to be remembering completely wrong...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost positive that the actual scoreboard is not attached to the stadium. It has columns that go down the side of it into the ground. It seems to me like they could get sturdier columns. But I think the argument in moot because I remember someone saying they're still paying for the current scoreboard.

I'm pretty sure that we went undefeated at home last year. I know we narrowly escaped Vandy and South Carolina, but we dismantled UGA and Arky.

Why not go with a Dallas Cowboys Idea and Add 80 yard long Plasma Screens hanging from enormous steel rafters over the top of Neyland?
