Okay, besides those who think Bruce should be let go, I want other reasons. Bruce has done well in the past. He has beaten the Gators fairly consistently and done fairly well versus Kentucky. The Vols have played well in in the past 5 years and this is the worst the team has done to start the season. I would have thought the Vols would have gotten through this part of the season with one loss.

I think the first thing he needs to do is to quit giving his son steven pearl and tyler mcbee playing time. Those to guys are awful and would probably have a tough time seeing playing time at a local community college.

I would also give kenny hall, maymon and mcrae significally more minutes/game

Our staff can't hold on to top guys like Selby for whatever reason. Seems like he would have been the missing piece to this team.

They need a point guard. Someone to create shots, also not turning the ball over 20 times a game might help a little also. Goins just doesn't look like the same guy who was killing Pitt and Nova, Scotty either for that matter.

The team and coaches all need to get a set of ear plugs and stop listening to outsiders. They also need to realign work habits with their mission

Ummm, where to start.....

1. The moral compass of the head coach.
2. The criminal records of certain gun toting dope smoking starters.
3. Kid n Play's hair.
4. The ugly color of the uniforms.

Remember when we hired Pearl and were so excited about "controlled caos." Well, thankfully, Bruce had Buzz' athletes. Since he got here, he has not recruited a single Bruce Pearl player, but he wants to run the Bruce Pearl system. If he wants to recruit "the best available athlete", he had better change to a system which fits them. I could outcoach Pearl: just sag the defense and make hime shoot over it. Heck, Charlotte beat him that way with a team of pygmies.

Aggressive players. I hate having 4 out of 5 players floating on the perimeter, even after the shot is up.

Pearl's got to figure out a way to develop his players as individuals, even though he lacks credibility right now. If they don't want to be a part of this team and grow, then let them hit the road.

Pearl is losing leverage to his players and the world right now.

Bruce has a decision to make. The offense is wasting a lot of energy trying to get Hopson looks. He continues to not be able to pull the trigger (drive) when he gets the ball. The man did not have a field goal with 7 minutes left in the game! You would think he could get a loose ball and score at least. If Bruce continues to try to showcase Hopson the team is going down. With the inside strength we have they should never take a 3 point shot and Hopson should be a backup player.

You know Bruce Pearl's system better than Bruce does? The controlled chaos is garbage.

I agree. Hopson scoring 20 a night is not the best answer to this team's problems.

Is this team really going to give up right now? Are you really going to let other teams outman and outplay you? Stop coming to practice and give up if you're just going to handover the crown to your opponents.
