Now there's a good argument. Hopefully someone will remind any Vol with delusions of grandeur that the only team wanting Rob Smith was the Paducah Coal Miners.

Too bad you have yet to make a good arguement in 15 attempts. Don't roll an ankle jumping off JG's piggyback!

Rob Smith didn't set the school bench pressing record now did he? Good example, but still debatable.

Brandon Warren and Gerald Williams will both play in the NFL. Probably will be starters as well.

The Brandon Warren issue is pathetic. There are a number of reasons Fulmer is gone...this is one of them. He just didn't have the proper handle on personnel and his assistant coaches

I think Morley has already packed it in and will leave after this year. He has obviously not learned what being a student athlete is about. He won't get drafted and in 10 years we hear another "Tony Robinson" cocaine story.

McNeil is the only one who could transfer into the NFL after this year (especially a team like the Broncos), but I still don't think he would go on the first day.

If we get the right coach, I think most of these guys would like to get one more chance at Florida, Bama, So. Carolina, and Georgia...I don't see any of them leaving, but I may be wrong...I was once before.

Yeah, bench press records are all the scouts really look at. Most of them will tell you that's of relative unimportance for an offensive lineman. Also, you are a woman.

Having a big bench press may not mean alot if anything at other positions but for a O-Lineman it is extremely important because that initial punch is what stops the D-Linemans feet and all that punch is, is pretty much the last six inches of your bench press. Now that doesn't mean a guy will be a good NFL player by any means but I would have to disagree with you that it is not important for a O-Lineman

I'd say compared to trunk and leg strength it's third on the list. Jaques huge bench numbers are nice, but that alone isn't going to make him good.

Hey KPT: Rivals ranks Rico McCoy 9th best LB for upcoming draft.

Rivals.com College Football - NFL Draft: Top ten linebackers

When are you going to give it up dude? You lost 15,000 posts worth of credibility this thread and acting like some whiny little kid who can't accept the fact that you are wrong. You just got served so shut up. Every thing you've said has been shot down so what you got to say now?

It just cracks me up that the entire argument centered around me saying I didn't think all NFL guys were wild about UT prospects. Somehow that was construed to mean "Rico McCoy has no chance in the NFL."

I can't wait to watch Erki Ainge, I heard his uncle was Danny Ainge, and we have a dual threat QB as well....hmm this season is gonna be great especially after building on last season's performance, but shoot that Peach bowl was rough....oh wait are we done using references from 2003?

This could be one of the funnier things I've read in a long time.

Tony Mandarich laughs at this
