What I've Learned From Oregon Boards

SCe is living off of Lattimore annihilating a very sorry defense. I don't buy it.

All of the rest, I understand.

Gamecocks have a long long history of not doing well the second half of the season. I too think the trend continues.

That's no standard this early. If that's the argument, then can anyone be ranked?

let me rephrase. which of these teams beside bama do you think has a prayer of finishing in the top-15?

they destroyed a ucla team that clownstomped texas.

Come on. Did you watch that game? TX had about 271 turnovers. UCLA isn't in that game without it and it wasn't defensive prowess generating those TOs.

I'm very skeptical of the SEC outside of Alabama, Arkansas, and Auburn this year...

UF is loaded. Don't think they lose again until SECCG. They don't play to the talent level, but are young and that D will keep improving.

Kind of like saying UCF would beat LSU because UCF kicked the crap out of UAB.

understood, but we are talking about a 35 point victory on the road. impressive under any circumstances. ucla also destroyed a previously pretty good houston team.

their offense did a hell of lot better against texas than stanford.

Understand, but the clownstomping thing was too much. Using that TX team as a gauge for anything seems premature. They suck.

I think (Okay, HOPE), LSU will also screw it up later in the season. Les Miles has it well within himself to do so.

We don't want Miles to screw up any more. For the sake of the SEC, we need him to stay around. We don't want a good coach to head down to the Bayou. Way too much talent down there.

They stink, but it's still very impressive to go into that stadium and win easily. I do think Cal blows out UCLA this weekend though, so we shall see how delusional/knowledgable I am.

I don't care if Miles ever wins another game.

True, but I'd hate to see someone that stupid win the conference again.
