Those stats are pretty interesting. It tells me that we don't have people making plays when they matter most. Success breeds success and failure breeds failure. We have to succeed in one of those situations to start with and I think that will lead to more successful experiences down the road. I wondering how many of those players have 100% confidence that they will put the ball in the endzone or make that big stop when it matters most.
Its like saying your gonna start exercising again. Its really tough to start but once you do it a couple of times it gets much easier and a part of who you are....

That stat does not say it is late in the game only. The first drive after halftime down 14-7 (hypothetically) counts as well. How is that on the defense?

If he is counting things like that then that stat is an outright lie...

here is just one thing to prove it


a Gurley 51 yard rushing gain to make it 27-10 Georgia, but Bray came right back and led Tennessee on three straight scoring drives (one aided by a short field off a Tennesse fumble) to give the Volunteers a 30-27 lead near the end of the first half (although the Bulldogs would tie things by halftime). Bray threw two touchdowns during this period.


So we were down 17 points and bray led the offense on 3 scoring drives to give us the lead 30-27


So there we go.. Stat is an out right lie by someone trying to attack our team, players and coaches.

And this brings me back to my first point.. not only are people going out of their way to attack and they even have to lie to do it..

Kind of pathetic since there is plenty out there to say that would be true...

Edit.. re-read the OP to see exactly, and its talking about second half only.. my above example was the first half. But it does not matter much, fact remains our offense has shown they can get it done AND against some of the top defenses in the country. The defense can't stop anyone, even lower tier teams.

and still no one answered my question on why exactly they are on a crusade to attack our offense which the one thing on our team that is really good.

Bottom line is Dooley spends all his time on offense and has let Sal take the defense he said so himself. After you see time and time again the basic failures of the defense. That should cost him his job. Period.
