What is YOUR record with the Vols?

6-0

Two games in 99 when I was 13 working for my dad selling merchandise outside the stadium and buying tickets for the 2nd and 3rd quarters before having to go back out to work.

One game about 5 years ago vs Ohio.

3 games this year.

And yes, I will be at Bama, Kentucky, Missouri. Introducing my 6 year old to UT traditions at Kentucky game, introducing my 10 year old nephew to it for Mizzou. Trying to pay it forward and make some new VFLs.

As an extension of the other thread discussing our most heartbreaking losses, it made me think back to all of the games I've attended over the years, which got me thinking, what is MY record with the Vols? Below is every Vols game I've attended, and the results. I know it would take some older fans days to put their list together, but here's mine.

2004 @South Carolina W
2005 South Carolina L
2006 Air Force W
2006 @South Carolina W
2007 Ark State W
2007 South Carolina W
2010 Ole Miss W

2014 Utah State W

2015 South Carolina W

***update***
2016 Florida W. 13-5

My record with the Vols is 12-5. What's yours?

I can't remember all the games I've been to......

Looking back on my phone, I've attended 17 games in which we went 11-6 in that stretch, with 2 losses to Florida, one to Candy (ugh), 2 to Auburn, and 1 to Georgia.

Updating this since it got bumped. We are now 14-6 when I have attended games. All of these are in Neyland as well.

I think I'm around 10-0, and there have been two other times that I had tickets but could not attend. The record in those games is 0-2.

I was also at the bowl game against UNC a few years back, which I think counts as a *.

I'm 8-0 away from Neyland:

1998 SEC Championship
USCe
KY
GA (Ray Goff era)
Kansas
Northwestern Citrus Bowl
Bristol
1986 Sugar Bowl

1980 vs Georgia was my first game.
A loss.

It would take a while to figure out.

The Arkansas game during the title season was a good one though.

2015: Bowling Green: W
2015: Georgia: W
2016: App St.: W
So 3-0 and hopefully 4-0 after I go to the Mizzou game later this year

The last two UT games I attended were 2016 Bama and 2012 Florida.

Please excuse my pessimism. You might understand where it comes from.

Hey, let's keep this going! Everyone quote your post from this thread and update it!

I moved to Ktown in 1977 and have probably watched most every game they have played since then. Most home games I was there and away games I watched on tv and radio. Honestly, I am too lazy to go back and look up the answer to your question.

No idea been to too many. Great record from 90 to 95 but NG going up after graduation.

I've been to one game and we beat the hell out of Kentucky that day so my winning percentage is 100. I'm going to the game tomorrow so it should still be 100%.

Jeez louise, didn’t realize this thread was started in 2016! I wouldn’t know where to begin-4 years of UT home games, several bowl games, season tix for years and away games to see other stadiums. I’d say prob around .500 as someone else mentioned. Wish it was higher!

First Game was Early 2000’s Vandy game: W
2004 Peach bowl vs Clemson: L
2009 WKU: W

4-5 overall. 4-2 at Neyland. 0-3 on the road. Not many games but somehow saw some huge highs and lows. Witnessed Wilhoit’s kick from the 4th row on the 40 yard line. Amazing. Witnessed Jamarcus Russell put a dagger in us with 0:06 left from behind our end zone. Terrible. Saw Justin Hunter tear his ACL. Awful. This year I’m watching us get revenge on Kiffin

Ive been to a lot of games, but I can’t remember them all.
I’ll give you at least three.
Bama away. Can’t remember what year tied 17-17. I think 92? Shoot don’t get me a lying.
Florida where we lost 31-0. So sad that day. The best part of that game was the interception.
SECCG against Auburn I where we won 31-30 thirty? I believe? Can’t remember the year!
My memory just slips. That alone is 1-1-1. So many others though.
