What is YOUR record with the Vols?

As an extension of the other thread discussing our most heartbreaking losses, it made me think back to all of the games I've attended over the years, which got me thinking, what is MY record with the Vols? Below is every Vols game I've attended, and the results. I know it would take some older fans days to put their list together, but here's mine.

2004 @South Carolina W
2005 South Carolina L
2006 Air Force W
2006 @South Carolina W
2007 Ark State W
2007 South Carolina W
2010 Ole Miss W
2012 Ga State W
2012 Florida L
2012 Missouri L
2013 Austin Peay W
2013 South Carolina W
2014 Utah State W
2014 Florida L
2014 Missouri L
2014 Iowa W
2015 South Carolina W

My record with the Vols is 12-5. What's yours?

I guess I could look up every game I have attended since 1946, but I decided not to do that. I have seen most of the very best games and more of the worst that I wanted to.

I see you live near Myrtle Beach and almost always go to the South Carolina game. It sounds like there could be some split loyalties in your house, maybe?

Fwiw, I have been going to games since I was 9 in 1982 and have no idea of my record but will say that between 1983 and 1988 the only win I saw was Auburn in '85. Me and my dad sat through 4 ties (Army '84, UCLA '85, Georgia Tech '85 and Auburn '87). We were afraid to go to games for a long time, thinking of ourselves as a jinx... we didn't go to any in 1989 and went undefeated and untied at home :)

I was there for both ties in '85. I also was there when we lost to Army in '86, that was ugly. I had a date for the Army game with a girl who was from Knoxville but had never attended a game. Afterwards I walked her back to her dorm and kindly asked that she never attend another UT game.

I've never attended a game that UT did not win, including several bowl games and every home game in 98.

ironically, mine was my 1st game in Neyland...94 FL...31-0. pissed rain all game, got our butts kicked and i was hung over...before, during and after that game.

Fortunately it got a lot better, pretty quickly after that.

prior to that i went to several Memphis state games, Ole Miss games and "pre season" games at the liberty bowl. 2 bowl games (Cotton/Liberty) before i ever set foot on campus. i don't recall losing any of those games.....

i haven't been back to a game since Miss St. 07. going to the FL game this year, taking my daughters to their first game. so hopefully, history won't repeat itself with their 1st game in Neyland.:clapping:

I saw a few Vols games in the Liberty bowl against Memphis State and Ole Miss and remember at least one against Mississippi State there as well.

Not going to try and remember years.

UCLA loss.
LSU loss.
UGA win.
FL loss.
UK win.
ARK loss.

I think that's it. So 2-4.

We did play the Citadel in Memphis. I had recently turned 16 and had a job, I worked that day so I missed the game. Later that fall I quit that job so I could attend the homecoming game against Ole Miss. I am pretty sure that was the first ever night game in Neyland in November, it was freaking cold and we lost.

That was 1983. I was there too. That loss to Ole Miss cost us a trip to the Cotton Bowl.

You wet behind the ears boys can count yours...

I can't count that high...

But I'll be in Bristol, Athens and a game or 2 in Knoxville...God willing...

Also booked hotels/flights for Atlanta and Tampa...Butch winning...

I'm 18-4 against you guys (11-2 in Gainesville, 7-2 in Knoxville).

I'm 1-0 when cheering for you guys (Bill Duff Citrus Bowl in the rain).

I was a student at UT from 1992-1996. When I tell people that my record in the Swamp was 1-0 as a student, I always get weird looks. Nobody remembers that we played Virginia Tech in the '94 Gator Bowl in Gainesville. We won 45-23 - still the only bowl game I've ever been to and the only time I've been to Gainesville.
