What is your prediction for attendance at the Southern Miss game?

Tickets sold will not reflect actual attendance. My guess is 75000. If we lose to Kentucky, and Butch is still the coach, that number may be less than 60000.

With a loss vs UK I will be surprised if there are more than 75,000. That's actually a high number considering the entire fansbase has given up on Butch.

92 thousand
Homecoming and perfect time to enjoy a Autumn day of festivities with game time happening about right. Enjoy the family time and be a VFL.

730 kickoff, cold temps coming off a loss to UK and Butch Jones still at the helm. Yeah 92K sounds right

I get this logic, but why penalize the fans? We're supposed to forfeit the money spent on tickets, lodging, arrangements?

Many go with their families and friends as a bonding experience. Don't try and ruin their experience just because fans are angry that Butch is the coach.

so news flash... we will do what we want. It's our money. Our time. Our experience.

That’s fine and well. News flash - don’t join the crowd pissing and moaning (note - didn’t say you have) about the piss poor coaching if your actions are supporting the ‘failed regime.’

I guess I will see some of you there. Not really worth trying to sell the tickets.

I did see that tickets to the Mizzou game are starting at $9

As long as people go don't expect Currie to make a change.

People are happy shelling out $$ at games he won't make a change.

If he cared about Tennessee getting better at football he would have already fired Butch.

For you guys who say this, don't you UNDERSTAND they already HAVE our money. The message is if we CONTINUE to DONATE.

I'm still trying to figure out why anyone is still going, or watching. I come on here, hoping for a Butch was just fired thread and we're hiring a superstar coach

Yea they have the ticket $ already..... but that is a small slice of what is made on gameday. Profits on merch, food, parking etc out weighs the profits on ticket sales.

There is WAY more to it than just the ticket brother.

I got tickets for $10, so I'll be there. However, if Jones is still the head coach on November 4, then I overpaid.

Money is already shelled out. Problem is, people will try and dump he tickets on the street.

I sold 2-30 yard line seats to South Carolina for $15
That's $7.50 apiece. I (not sure) think the face value was $55 apiece (it's different for each home game, can't remember - GA was $95 apiece face).

If we lose to Kentucky, roll up your windows when you drive through Knoxville, people will throw tickets in your car.

P.S. I will be there. I was also at the SC game, but someone gave me 3 and I got to sit with both of my sons (students). I would think the cost of a hotel for those coming in from out of town might be the cost dagger.

yep. fortunate for me, i used points so the hotel didn't cost me a dime. which is why i was ok with buying the tickets so early. but hind sight being what it is....i could have gotten the whole weekend for less than $100 probably........

I'd say about 65k.. If they lose to Kentucky you'll probably be able to sit just about wherever you want. May anyway, everyone is over Jones.

How about I pose another two questions.

What do you think the attendance for the second half will be if we're coming off a loss to KY and Southern Miss is leading at half time?

What do you think the home attendance for LSU will be if we lose to Southern Miss?

Currently, I will be shocked if we win two more games this season. We don't match up well with anyone left. Southern Miss included.
