I remember Manning's announcement as well. I was headed to PHX for a golf trip and when we landed we saw it in SportsCenter.

My now late Mom left a message on my answering machine (remember those?)...PEYTON'S STAYING...I LOVE YOU...OH AND PEYTON'S STAYING...wish I had kept that tape
