Pizza Hut really sucks. Must not be many good local, non-chain pizzerias around for all of those that have it listed as their favorite.

I recently had the Garden Fresh pizza from Papa John's with wheat crust and I thought it was pretty good for a (relatively speaking) healthy pizza.

I remember when all we had around here was Olimpic restarant. we put napkins on the pizza to soak up the grese from so much cheese on it , man was it good, oh there was pepperoni or beef only, there was only pizza hut and the Olimpic steak house, but it was a blast going in there and watchin everyone putting napkins on their square pizza. lol:crazy::eek:lol::dance2::)

Anyone in the hermitage area should give "jetts" a try. Thats about ten miles east of nashville, off i-40 for those not very familiar with the area. Get off and head north about 3 miles and its in a strip mall on the left.

VN, I've got a new one. Tiger Trey made a home made pizza on one of those round stones last night and was better than any pizza I've had in along while. It was stupendous. Her words were "I don't think it's very good". Sheiot, It was great, I wish you all had a bite of this pizza,(Mission Impossible). I took one bite in front of her and mumbled thanks see you later and thanks. She knew what I mumbled, went to the stop sign took 5 more bites to have a mouth full for the short ride home. What's the best HOME MADE pizza yall cook. My mom used to cook one in a cookie sheet that was to die for. Yall ever cooked your own pizza at home? I can't make it come out right and my wife don't cook. Yall ever done your own? BRING IT ON MY VOL FRIENDS!:dance2::dance2::dance2:

Did not look through the thread to see if this was already mentioned, but....

Crust Pizza in Chattanooga is phenomenal. They have a lunch buffet that is $7, all you can eat and comes with a big salad. All the pizza is thin crust however, my favorite but some people do not like it.

Its on the corner of Dayton Blvd and Signal Mtn rd.....There is another location as well cant remember where though.

I saw on the travel channel about "Big Pie in the Sky" or something like that in Atlanta. A 30" 11lb pizza. Are you kidding me?

Sounds like a California style pizza, I first ate one like that in SLO, CA. Our friend that is a master chef made it and it was good, got back home and tried to make one, no good. I'm shur it was me but,It just wasn't the same by no means. No red sauce!:eek:hmy:

Wasn't Pizza Inn the first to have dessert pizza. I remember when I first saw some and loved it. All kinds of flavors. YUM!

My daughter and I make a homemade cheeseburger pizza that is delicious.

Make up some patties with your favorite seasons and grill them.

Meanwhile, prepare a homemade crust or Boblio's store-bought. Instead of tomato sauce, cover it in ketchup, mayo, and mustard. Crumble the cooked hamburger. Top that with some diced onions and dill pickles. Cover liberally with cheddar cheese.

Bake until bubbly on top and the crust is brown.

Tastes like a gourmet cheeseburger!
