This take bothers me. It bothers me bc I’m considering the source of the take. Why are you saying this?
Nobody in your entire family can ever attend an away game again, from here to eternity, EVER!! Talk about saving the worst conference loss we could have this year, whew! For whatever reason, every time my husband and I travel to an away game, we lose. Unless something changes, Miss. State and Florida are a loss. The difference this year is that my son is going with me to the Mississippi State game. Maybe my husband is the bad luck, and we pull that off. We'll see.....![]()
I agree with you. Not only is Joey going to be dealing with learning to play against SEC competition he is also going to be adjusting to a new offense along with all the other skill position players.Because I've not found any Sunbelt QB that has found success in the SEC. There may have been but I can't recall or find one.
Entirely different leagues and caliber of players. Can't just depend on his stats to assess his capabilities playing in this conference. Plus, there are many new pieces in this offense that have not played a game in this offense. September into mid-October will be a lot of learning experience for the offense IMO.
and I could be wrong just my feelings at this juncture.
I think CJH just goes through the motions this year as he did in ‘23 but, I think about halfway through the season, he picks one of the two youngsters and rides with him as far as the NIL will allow.Because I've not found any Sunbelt QB that has found success in the SEC. There may have been but I can't recall or find one.

Pavia had some degree of success and played in a league that is about equivalent to the Sun Belt these days. It’s an enormous jump though and far from a given. If Georgia were entering the season with Aguilar starting, most of the people talking him up now would be counting Georgia as an easy win for the Vols.Because I've not found any Sunbelt QB that has found success in the SEC. If we win at State but lose in the Swamp we at VolNation will demand that you revoke your husband‘s road tickets! For whatever reason, every time my husband and I travel to an away game, we lose.
