What is up w/Ole Miss Recruiting?

NCAA is a joke. What Auburn gets away with, I have no faith in the NCAA to do anything about the shady stuff that goes on.

Forget Auburn, just look at what NC did for their football players for 15 years - they setup fake classes to give their players grades to keep them eligible. Paying players money under the table is one thing but grade fixing goes to the heart of the NCAA. NC did this AND GOT AWAY WITH IT with a minor slap on the wrist!

NSD is a massive failure for us today just because of Bell. You know you suck when someone who grew up a huge UT fan doesn't pick you.

I call total BS on this. If he's a fan, he would be here. This is just some internet crap one of the 'paid' sites put out. Let him go to OSU, he's now dead to the UT fan base.

We are not where we want to be, but today is only a massive failure to the massively negative. We got some truly great players. There is no doubt about it. Go Vols!

Just got another. Antonio Conner. If they're doing this all legally, you gotta give them props. Could end up with the #1 class.

They just signed the #2 safety now. I'm not buying this garbage. There is no way this is on the level.

It makes perfect sense for Ole Miss to have a top 5 class. lol WTF? If Freeze can't see how outsiders would think he's cheating, then he's mentally challenged. This could be a SMU situation.

They're making a huge jump, but I don't think they can make it that far up / make up that much ground just today

that seems to be Bama's/UF's/OSU's

That safety is from 20 minutes away from Oxford. And his high school is a pipeline for Ole Miss recruits. Always has been.

This shows you how 1 really good player can be that first domino that falls. The other guys like Ole Miss, but probably thought they weren't that good. But then 1 or 2 big time players commit, and those same dude are like,"I wanna be a part of this action too."

or a bunch of them already made up their minds and it's a bunch of relative circumstances in this case

if they were still that undecided on signing day, they wouldn't be making their decisions today

Signing a player Green-Beckham didn't make kids suddenly flock to Missouri signing day last year

Ole Miss had Treadwell (5*, top 5 prospect, #1 WR) commit a couple weeks ago (he has a teammate from HS that plays at OM). Combined with him committing and the overall #1 expected to commit since his brother players at OM, and this is pretty accurate.

Freeze is a hell of a recruiter, but next year's class will probably not size up to this one. Kind of anomaly this year with the top prospects.

That is true. But I still think it took one of em to say, "c'mon guys lets go here and do something special."

Ok I'll give them that then. However, I won't be surprised if there's a 30 for 30 about this recruiting class in the future.

Better than that , Chris Kiffin...yes Lanes little brother, was just named recruiter of the year. This proves that the staff is crooked...he was arrested 3-4 years ago for burglary and stealing cd's before big brother bailed him out and gave him an administrative job at USC.

Appears to be a lot of crooked things happening at Ole Piss.
sn...he was the lead recruiter for Treadwell and others

He not only has a Kiffin on his staff, but they all worked Ed O too.

They'll get the death penalty within a year, no need to worry here.

Although Miami can apparently pay for prostitutes and abortions, and the NCAA is cool with that.

According to ncaa, they can pay the parents a couple hundred grand and that's okay if the player says he didn't know. Of course, I'm not sure if that rule is valid unless the player is going into a national championship game with all those television contracts.

Its to the point of who really cares. Cheat, make a run, win some games, get in a little trouble in 5 years, have a couple of down years. Start cycle again.
Better than staying mediocre for a long time.
