CBS also signed a $55 million deal with the SEC to get the top SEC game every week.
SEC Network is in the works as well and would provide additional millions to each school annually.

i think the deal with ESPN pretty much killed the idea of SEC TV for awhile.

Good! The SEC would've just hired a bunch of JP/Lincoln/Raycom, CSS, and SportSouth scrub rejects which would make awful TV! Broadcasting is better left to professionals, not converts from journalism or washed up football players or coaches. The only positive would be possibly "promoting" Boobs to the league network for TV broadcasts where he is much better suited.
