Does anyone have an updated roster. With people coming and going who's left.

We need kids like him to step up. Seriously, I thought he was going to be our next Chad Clifton, but he has not seen the playing time since he came here, which makes me wondering how serious his injuries was...

I have thought about him as well...he could be huge for us at right tackle this year if fully healthy.

If my memory is correct, he had surgery on both shoulders last spring. Ouch, that would definitely put someone behind.

Two shoulder surgeries can definitely set you back a long ways. I had shoulder surgery a long time ago back when I was playing high school ball and have never felt the same, but thank God procedures have improved drastically since then. Anybody know where he got the surgery(ies) done at?

I don't think he is ever going to play a game for us. Hate to see a kid's career be over so prematurely.

If so, that will leave UT will 9 scholarship OL's on the roster this fall... and 4 of them are centers right now. Unless someone has gained some bulk, only 3 guys are big enough to play OG in the SEC. Two of those guys plus a 4 year starter at center and the LT will be gone after this year... leaving 5 scholarship OL's if Sawtelle can 't make it back (two of them are Anderson and Pope).

But not to worry... Sabbanachio doesn't think we should "freak out" over it.

alright SJT...I'm freaking out. You satisfied now? I'm with you, just don't know how the continued harping on the topic solves anything other then to keep peoples expectations reasonable for the 2010 season. This is not Kiffin's fault, but it is his problem now to solve.

It's a problem...I got it.

Nope. I'm not at all satisfied to be freaking out... or for you to be. I'd much rather be calm and confident with a solid two deep plus 4 or 5 quality OL's in development.

BTW, was my comment somehow NOT relevant to the topic of Sawtelle possibly not making it back to football? I don't think so. And I have written very little about the topic since NSD. It is what it is.... very ugly and very likely to get significantly worse before getting any better.
