I've seen "Fire the Coach" That's a 9 Million dollar thing for just the head coach not including assistants. If we did, we would most assuredly get another coach just like the last 3. Nobody wants to come here and we are paying ridiculous dollars to incapable coaches just to get them to come. UT has shown without a doubt they have no intention of paying ridiculous money to get a name brand and if they were, name brand won't come here.

Replace the Quarterback: With who? As bad as Guarantano is, he's as good as we've got.

I'm personally sick of listening to sports talk radio in Knoxville for 12 months of the year building up hope of 8 and 9 win seasons to be disappointed in week 1 when we can't seem to put away Appalachian State or lose to Georgia State Southwestern Technical College. At this point, I don't know who UT would beat on it's schedule that matters. Who cares if you beat UT Chattanooga or not? I am at the point where it wouldn't bother me at all if they shut the program completely down. Frankly, I'm tired of them throwing money away that I'm being somewhat forced to pay to produce a product that is at best disappointing. The facts are, buy a ticket or not a significant portion of your cable/satellite, whatever tv bill goes to pay for this mess. I go back to Bill Battle and can remember some pretty sorry years. A sorry year here and there is different than 12 consecutive sorry years and getting worse not better.
After the 98 championships (SEC & National Title) the program has been declining. Fulmer could not defeat Bama and/or Florida. So they fired him, probably the right call, although he was fantastic recruiter! That is where the real problems began. Fired Phil without any plans for the future, who does that!! Not even Vanderbilt anymore!!!!

Quit going. quit buying stuff.

The Cubs were not good for a century because they have loyal fans. Why try to win if people still come.
The Yankees are good most of the time because if they aren't their fans find something else to do.

Be the Yankees and not the gullible Cubs. fans.
And the Cubs didn’t get better till they changed owners (ie new AD and GM) and hired a proven manager (ie head coach).

We need a qb. We get a decent qb and we win both games. Pruitt will get higher quality players, we are seeing some show their talent already. No need to get rid of pruitt, no coach can turn this around instantly.
Well worded and good look. I believe Pruitt can right the ship, won't be this year, but am liking the freshmen we've seen so far a lot. A lot. Most of the players I'm cussing at from home are juniors

He's probably not going to be the savior many think he will.

I already have a Savior. We just need a decent quarterback. The live game I watched him in looked very nice indeed. With some good coaching he could be special.

Is your savior available then? Harrison is no more special than the backups currently on the team according to many folks.

They waited too long to fire him. He couldn't even recruit worth a crap his last few years. I'm tired of that fat fool being brought up as the solution, when he's the root of the problem.

Its fools that believe one of the best coaches in the SEC is the root of the problem. We all know what the problem is. Its the Haslams. Haslam completely torpedoed this program in 2009. We were very relevant and still a big named national program. We had a proven winner wanting to come and be our coach. But little Jimmy wanted a flashy loser who had a hot wife.

Thats the root of all our problems and its still tgere.

I would say the solution is to Knock Neyland down to around 30K seats... drop out of the SEC ... and join a lesser conference...but.. wait a minute... we can't even compete in the Sunbelt.....
