I can’t say they’ll respond strong Sat night. Fire away but facts are there. The players quit under Jones & Pruitt each of the last 2 yrs

The biggest concern is that they "respond" but can't muster up much of a response because they aren't that good.

Hopefully, they can go out and show people that's not who they are

JG is not a SEC QB. We have 2 NFL future receivers in Jennings and Callaway. We have a Kamara in Gray but we don't use them! Continual stupid rotating players in and out. You leave your best players in and (hopefully) you have some cohesion in the offense. If you can't defend then you had better out score the other guy. It is not going to happen throwing dinks for 5 yds. when you need 10, sliding short of the first down or running 3 straight plays that gets nothing when the team is behind. This is on JP and Chaney.

Every commentary I’ve seen, or heard says the effort sucked. Maybe they didn’t quit cause they never started. Lack of effort was the problem. If you think that Tennessee team played hard, you don’t know crap about football.
Maybe that's what they thought. But thre truth is, both lines got whipped like a mule. Gray got put on his butt one of the last sacks TRYING to block. The d line got shoved around, Taylor and who ever about knocked each other out trying to tackle the qb on that last TD score. Our whole o line looked like it took a step back. This was not a lack of effort. They were stronger, faster, and hungrier.

I can’t imagine what Georgia & Bama is going to do to us later on in the season.

I’m afraid it will be the same ole sh!t.

It will surprise me if we win.

No fire. Just going through the motions.

Bad enough for that to happen at the end of last year, but to start out with the SOS BS, sucks to the max!
It’s a feeling of “the season is over before it even gets started”...........

There's no effing way the same starting lineup shows up next week and plays like that again. The water under Pruitt is boiling right now and unless he is totally nuts or mentally incompetent , which any reasonable person knows he is neither, then next week will be different.

I don't know or believe if it is possible, but the response from Pruitt and team should be to beat the absolute crap out of BYU. If there could be a miracle attitude adjustment, now it the time for it to happen.

I fully expect this team to quit at the first sign of adversity against BYU. I've watched them do it for 2 seasons and this one will be no different. If things don't go their way they will quit. They talk tough on Twitter but when it comes time to show it on the field they fold.
