What is the real issue with JG?

SEC nation was talking about how Pruitt told their on site reporter that JG would be the starter and if he makes a couple of mistakes he will still be the starter. Then they went into how UT needs to run the ball on every down to have success........you know if the other team knows your running every down you wont be too successful right???????

With all due respect, they already know JG's "arrows" aren't going to hurt them

Coach and JG have this weird relationship.

It's very similar to keeping a cheating girlfriend around.

She cheats but you keep telling yourself oh she wasn't thinking, she loves me, blah blah blah, she didn't mean it, and then you keep letting her come back.

At this point JG has Coach mesmerized and Coach loves him to death. Nothing will ever separate those two.

Til death do they part.

Sorry got a mental block due to age.
Great analogy

You are right but the ol and rb will get the blame for it. They will be going against a stacked line but obviously our hc doens't understand this

Is it him starting the game or the coach keeping him in when he goes off the rails? I can see starting him but when he is not performing well, why are we keeping him in the game? If he is not getting it done, you have to pull him. No question about that.
This is something that is so odd, so unexplainable that it needs to be very much investigated complete with lie detector tests.

Hopefully Bailey is ready by then.

But Bailey may be ready now, we don't know because he has not been given a chance. Like today we should be able to beat ark easily, which give us a chance for back up qb. But we have had a chance for back ups on some games this year but they only got one series. Bama game was over beginning 3rd qtr. Ky game was over by 3rd qtr. Ga. game was over by 4th qtr, but only one series for backups. With all this said, with jg at qb we may win easily, it may be close, or we could get beat. You never know with jg.

Kirby and Pruitt are married to these bad qbs. I just don't understand

I think they both have the mentality of old school football, good defense, and run run run, until you have to pass and by that time its too late. Kirby is loaded with talent all but qb. He has had a good qb, but refused to use him in Fields, obviously did not recognize his talent. Kirby could have a nc if he had of stuck with Fields with all the other talent they have.
