If about 20 plays happened differently we would have lost?

VT sucks so it doesn't count?

Why even call yourself fans if all you do is criticize your own coaches and team?

You should always be able to criticize. Just understand that if you're going to criticize, the onus is on you to actually make an intelligent point.

Good win and much needed but if you think Florida and Alabama will give us 6 turnovers you are fooling yourself. Also if you don't think there are some serious issues with the offense you don't much about football. Big boy football starts in a couple of weeks and UT better get some things worked on offensively.

A lot of good things happened tonight. A lot of sloppy things happened tonight. The good definitely outweighed the bad, but there are things to learn from. Hopefully, no one cares about it tonight and we enjoy our twenty-one point win

Maybe just criticize is the wrong word..

Some criticism is ok at times..but constant doom and gloom after wins is insane and overboard..

At least wait till we lose to claim the season is over..

Criticizing is fine. Is the oline a worry? Of course. But coming out trying to crap on this victory and saying we're going to lose multiple games. Like chill. I'm not saying you did this. Lol rather another member that already made a stupid thread.

I know you have to go all the way back to last season to find a game where Alabama had 5 turnovers.

There are many concerns to be had.


1. Butch and company cannot field an effective passing game.
2. Butch seems to be unable to get the guys ready for the beginning of the fight.
3. Butch and company don't seem to understand how to utilize the talent on offense.
4. Running hurry up when trying to run clock should be priority.

There are others, but I was just trying to make the point that even in wins, there is room for concern.


Just like in losses, you guys paint a pretty picture and talk about the process.

We didn't get "given" all of the turnovers.

Good grief it's like some people have forgotten that players FORCE turnovers

Not pretty but I will never complain about a win over a good team. 2-0 is all that matters. Alls well that ends well

No one gave us 6 turnovers..our defense smacked them in the mouth and took them.

Namely pass blocking. Good win but that has got to improve or teams like Alabama and Florida will have Dobbs eating turf all night.

Butch and company have done nothing but improve this program each and every year...and instead of being a joke..we are in the national picture again for the first time since Fulmer
